Bit Hrgovic obviously took all that shots pretty well and recovered each time.

He recovered well in the end, but he really didnt take some of them that well. it could have ended bad if Zhang pushed a bit more after landing a big one.

This is literally him turning away lost and confused right after Zhang counter punched him in round 9 and it happened multiple times.

Hrgovic put in a poor performance however he shouldn't be written off yet. I was impressed with his chin, some of those punches he took from Zhang would've KO'd a lot of guys.

Any fighter who's not lined up for a title shot will take it, unless they have another title shot with easier opposition. He should not have a problem getting guys to accept offers now. This included Ortiz, Ruiz, Hunter jr and Parker who turned the offer down to fight for the IBF eliminator, which Hrgovic won over Zhang.

He did looks disinterested in the fight though. Based on what I saw, Zhang would be favored over old man Ortiz, fat man Ruiz, Hunter and Parker.

There's no other top 10 heavyweight that could've used Zhang's strategy without getting knocked out.


Hrg is a very hard puncher AND he's a combination puncher with a great chin and a good gas tank. Dude has very solid skills. I'd favor him over Usyk, Joshua and Wilder right now.
