it shows damage.
anyone with a brain can see Zhang was landing the harder, more damaging blows. it is irrefutable. the only argument HRG crowd have is punchstats by a smidge. Zhang was bullying Hrg around.

What we do know for a fact is the "power" didn't effect his fight game much though. Taking power shots doesn't make you comeback right after like Hrgovic was fighting. When you take hard shots, the impact of power makes you reset, stop your attacks, revaluate, become gun-shy, pull the trigger differently, etc...we've seen this tousands of times over the decades. None of these things happened with Hrgovic. Hrgovic literally walked away after some shots, doesn't mean he has a concussion.
Sometimes shots look like gangbusters, but they're not even g****busters. Now that Zhang is fighting upper-echelon fighters, that power isn't as powerful as it was against those 2-bit bums he's been fighting his entire career. You'll see as Zhang fights more top tier fighters, that power won't have the same effect.

As I was watching that fight, I wondered why there haven't been any developments in the use of anti-slip logos for boxing rings. I can't imagine it would be terrible hard to incorporate some grit into it.

Right so this was Hrgovic's test. He faced a big puncher, and he came through it.
Also he showed a decent level of aggression.
It was aggression and lack of offensive determination, that lost Joshua his rematch vs Usyk.
Hrgovic seems like a good solid fighter, but I have not witnessed anything super elite from him.
Solid fighter.

To me, a rematch makes sense. Hrgovic, whilst he got the win, provided more questions than answers, and Zhang clearly became less effective, massively in part, due to the surface. You'd think that after this they will have to consider options for that. I mean, this was one fight before Usyk vs Joshua 2. Imagine that chaos in a fight on that level. Nash out.

GGG landed more jabs than Nelo, but Nelo landed power punches which supposedly made the difference? But if Flip landed more power punches than zhang i guess Flip deserved win.
