The only round AJ won clearly today was the 9th.

AJ threw single shots for most of the fight, and he didn’t throw that many. People getting excited about him landing a decent combo to the body in the middle of the 8th round. He lost the rest of the 8th. In the 9th he went for it, emptied his tank, got destroyed in the 10th, and by the 12th he would have fallen out of the ring if there were no ropes he was fatigued so much.

This fight was no close, and the fact that it went to a split decision is shameful. The right man won but those close cards were disgusting.

Respect to AJ for holding up the Ukrainian flag with Usyk at the end. His outburst post fight is understandable. Emotion overwhelmed the man.

Before replying and calling me an idiot, maybe replay the fight without the excitement of watching it in real time. Usyk simply outboxed AJ in pretty much every round, even though it was closer in some than others.

I thought he clearly won the eighth too with his body work which set up the 9th.

15 seconds of decent body work didn’t win him the 8th imo.

He didn't convincingly,or just win for that matter, many rounds but he wasn't dominated in any part of the fight either. Easy to nitpick Joshua's performance but let's keep it in perspective here. This is an all time great, southpaw fighter he's going up against not an Otto Wallin ffs! This shouldn't be about what AJ couldn't do but more so what Usyk is is capable of. Fury will have his hands just as full if decides to man the fuchk up.

The 1st half of the fight was meh.
          Neither guy really pushing it.
Usyk was doing better but no one was dominating.

AJ's 9th rd was very busy but not effective.
Same with GGGeezer vs Nelo in their 1st fight, a lot of punches thrown, very little landing.

Seemed as if AJ expected Usyk to fold, and when he came on strong, AJ was lost.

I gave him 3 or 4 rounds, but besides the 9th the others he may have won were close so I agree.

He didn't dominate rounds, but then neither did Usyk until late. The majority of rounds were close

You could score those first 8 rounds in plenty of ways.

I didn't think that was the right approach from Joshua personally, but him not dominating rounds against Usyk is a pretty harsh criticism.

Rounds 2 and 9 were all AJ. Rounds 10-12 were all Usyk. Neither guy dominated the other rounds that hard, but Usyk had the edge for the most part.
