Too much stock is being placed on how Ortiz looked vs Martin. Nobody cares how Ruiz looked vs Arreola. Ortiz was down twice, yes, but let's not ignore Ruiz was put down by Arreola too.

Ortiz was the one with the TKO win.

I am favoring Ortiz in this one. Ruiz is being vastly overrated for this fight. The "power" he showed vs AJ was a combination of AJ being gassed out/punched out, and a little bit of power from Ruiz. but that same "power" was no where to be seen in the rematch or vs Arreola, or vs Parker.

Charles Martin is also a vastly more powerful HW than Ruiz, with 25 KO's in 28 wins, taller, longer, and faster than Ruiz.

Ortiz has been old and had serious heart problems for years. It's amazing that Wilder struggled with him so much.

He's an awkward southpaw though, but despite winning every second v Wilder, he showed he has no punch resistance and again v Martin too.

          - - Well known Fat Andy hurt his knee in extensive training at Eddies gym, the reason he changed trainers.

Had surgery after Arreola with a long recovery. Bum leg or not he'll steamroll Ortiz who was flattered by the poor boxing skills of Deyonce.

Put any amount of money you want on Ruiz and bank it. -300 isn't a bad RTI when it's a lock. The Destroyer is going to crush Ortiz.

I don't think it's a lock. If shot to bits Arreola can drop Ruiz, Ortiz surely can

Ruiz's performance against Arreola was indeed shocking. I cant argue with you there. I just can't get out of my head Ortiz hitting the deck after a Martin jab.

-300 is the weight he cut from walk around weight but then subtract his lean mass times his height which puts him above 250 .

That’s how they got 300 they rounded it off per meal he would eat after weigh in , he gained 20 pounds before the Joshua rematch weigh in at breakfast .

It wasn't just the knockdown too, Arreola was dinging shots off his head after.

I hear you though, a man Ortiz' age can get old in the ring over night. Ruiz might be just too much for him like you said, but 3-1 to me seems steep. Maybe the public knows something we don't. I'll say this though, if I had 10+ units on Ruiz, I wouldn't feel awesome about it.
