Weight & rehydration clause for Eubank is worse than Rahman Jr's

Eubank is already shriveled at 160 but the rehydration at 168 is pretty slim. He's already at a lower weight, has to cut 3, and extremely limited in his hydration.

Originally Rahman was contracted at 200 and could be 215 the morning of and whatever by fight night.

How come nobody is complaining about a real boxer exercising an extreme hydration clause?

Because Eubank is the A-side and still agreed to it. He obviously prefers this money fight to a hard campaign at 160.

Good point, but does that justify the extreme nature of the clause? I would be willing to argue the level of A-side here. Would a real A-side agree to such restrictions?

At the end of the day Rahman agreed to a hydration clause which Paul has been getting heat for when it wasn't that bad in comparison.

Eubank asked for that weight. They said they can make it. Benns team just agreed with it.

        His problem.

Eubank asked for 3 pounds less, 100k penalties per pound, and a hydration weight of 168??

Benn has accumulated a resume against actual professional boxers under standard weigh-in procedures before this fight. We are still waiting for the YouTuber to do the same.

Eubank obviously isn't Mayweather, but he does seem to want to cash in on his name value rather than undertake a regular 160 campaign culminating in a title shot. Sky Sports could have provided him the latter if he wanted it.

Chris Eubank Junior's team did not ask for the catch weight or re-hydration clause.

You admitted this on another thread. Why are you trying to make out this ludicrous suggestion is reality? You need to stop this mate.

Team Benn came up with the catch weight and re-hydration clause 'This is clear when listening to interviews with Hearn'. Eubank Junior agreed to the mandates to get the fight.

Otherwise there would be no fight. The same situation between Team Benn & Brook was always playing out like this.

They were probably going to force Brook back down to 147 pounds, that was all the talk.

A bunch of forum posters and Twitter users' speculation means nothing - none were part of the negotiations and yet talk like they were. The bare facts are, no one needed to take this fight, they have and it's on at this weight. Some are into it, some aren't. I suggest the latter don't watch it instead of getting exercised about it.

Knowing Eubank, I think it was more like, 'Id love to fight Conor, easy win, I'll even come down to 157, easy.'

Rehydration clause they haven't mentioned who put it in, whether it was an extremely confident Eubank or Conor.

They discussed the weight being Eubanks choice at the presser.

Yes they did. Posted the video which you refused to watch. All in the presser.

Watch the video, not sure why you're dodging it
