His wins over Kownacki were pretty good for a guy in his late 30s. Not sure how old you are & if you were around watching HW boxing around 2008-2012… Everyone was talking about him as a legit threat to the Klitschkos then the injuries hit…
I know Helenius was plagued by injuries and other issues doesn't change what I said though.

Shoulda coulda woulda doesn't mean anything they were talking about David Price being the heir apparent as well and look how that turned out.

Either way I was mainly talking about how hyped Kownacki and his "bum" status because he didn't live up to the hype.

Let's not forget an old,shop-worn Helenius had been stopped just two fights before by Washington FFS WASHINGTON OF ALL PEOPLE.

Again if Kownacki was what they made out he was he woulda walked through the Helenius's and Demirezen's of the world...

breazeale was a pbc pawn installed by haymon and sulaiman into the no.1 position to protect wilder. he could have been avoided (like Whyte was) or paid off to step aside. haymon had total control of big bum breazeale. How could you not understand that?

All those pbc fights for Helenius indicates he's a pbc controlled fighter himself. And if anyone thinks haymon is going to allow his hwt meal ticket wilder to lose to Helenius, well....

Why would I care who's "controlling" Helenius? promoters mean fúck all to me.

And they might think Wilder is going to win but the one thing Helenius does have is power in both hands regardless of how mediocre he's looked in recent years... And let's be honest who's the biggest puncher Wilders been in with Ortiz? he's arguably a weaker puncher then Helenius and Wilders coming off two B2B beat downs...

it's the only reason it's close to compelling but if Wilder is half the guy he was pre-Fury Helenius IS going to get the Breazeale treatment.

It matters very much who controls who. Haymon only makes fights where he KNOWS who will win. He's all about long term business plans. Wilder is his moneymaker, Helenius is his pawn. Now go out and bet on wilder so you can fill your pockets.

Whyte turned down a final with Breazeale so it went to Eric Molina…

Price was only hyped by UK fsnw not by anyone else. He was crushing euro trialhorses. Then his fruity promoter frank maloney thought it was a good idea to put him in with a top 10 HW coming of a loss to Klitschko. I & many others said he would get exposed against Thompson. Helenius actually beat name former world champions. Price best nobody…

Wilder has never been a moneymaker for Al Haymon and never will be. Haymon lost money on Wilder's PPVs. Wilder never became a draw.

Keep writing fanfiction that fits your narrative tho.

Not a bad opponent for a comeback, but it shouldn't be a PPV. I'll catch it the week after on Showtime, or Youtube highlights. Wilder should win this one by KO.

I like this fight but on PPV is horrible.
