I agree as long as he doesn't get caught. Would be like Ortiz-Wilder. Easily outboxing Wilder until he was caught in both fights.

If you're looking for a nice retirement check Deontay, Helenius is the wrong PPV dance partner.

"Looked" like a dive???? Maybe the most hideously blatantly obvious dive in ring history!!!!!!

Helenius is a darned good fighter though, or at least he was back in the day. Read several times Emanuel Steward saying Helenius absolutely owned Fury in sparring. http://ringobserver.com/2021/10/10/b...pi2sKpPNZn6Tcs

Even though Wilder is down and out and his value is dead at the moment, a win vs a guy like Helenius instantly brings him back for the HUGE jackpot vs AJ in UK, like 8 figures. Wilder has that name recognition and media value. Helenius does not. AJ vs Wilder sells much much much more than AJ vs Helenius. Even if Wilder is an awful fighter they did build him up into a star with strong marketing, promotion and media exposure hype. Helenius is still a far outsider with little selling value. He's totally B side.

I think I have seen worse dives. Ever watched Tyson vs Seldon? Or Ali vs Liston 2? Hell, even Haye vs Harrison.

But, yeah…Helenius (if he is serious), shouldn’t be taken lightly, he can box well when he is on form, he can punch a bit too.

Hahaha, yes, you're right but Ruiz -Ortiz isn't ppv worthy either imo; the bar seems to have lowered significantly over the years. Thanks.
