This fight ( which I'm not in favour of ) is about family historical legacy. Their respective weight divisions have nothing to do with anything in this contest. They will make a shed load of money and it's a side venture to their proper boxing careers. That's because of the uniqueness of the situation. After such a great rivalry by their fathers, it's about the sons continuing and trying to settle the family feud. When I think of it like that, it's kinda exciting, but from a career perspective I'm not in favour of it, as a Benn fan. I'm not a fan of Eubank. Maybe if I was also a fan of his I'd be more excited for this fight, but I'm only a fan of Benn, and I simply want to see if he can progress to a title shot at 147. Ironically back in the day, I was a big Eubank fan, and whilst I also liked Nigel, I was rooting for Chris snr lol. I'll be rooting for Conor on this occasion lol.

Complete mismatch. Unless Eubank is absolutely dead at the end weight he'll stop Benn comfortably. And I say this as someone who doesn't even rate Eubank Jr.
Benn isn't some kind of tricky boxer, he comes forward and looks to **** it out. That's served him okay against a few fringe contenders and faded names at welterweight but it's not gonna work against a career middleweight who has boxed better opponents and has more experience. I mean, I don't see any advantage Benn has in this fight. Even if they were the same size I'd probably make Eubank Jr. the favourite.
It's a pretty shameless cash-grab to be honest but whatever, I doubt anyone involved is complaining.Comment

Don't know why so many are excited for this fight. It is a money grab fight for the gullible public and those two guys were not in a collision course.
This reassured me that cancelling my DANZ subscription was the right thing to do.Comment
