Like I said, based on his youth and comparison to Porter's 3 lb cut for Broner with no major issues and Benn's "Absolutely No Experience", Eubank is going to piece this dude up. Another fool going up for an excuse payday so he doesn't take a real defeat vs his Piers.
Are there re-hydration clauses when fighters fight at 160 or 168 pounds? There is a 10 pound re-hydration clause in this fight. And it was that which held up the announcement of the fight.

I don't think Benn is a threat to Eubank Junior, without all these mandates. Catch Weight & Re-hydration clause etc.

What's his max rehydration? Is it a morning weigh-in or fight night? I just think Eurbank is too big, young, and sturdy for any major issues. If Benn were a big welterweight like Ennis, I might think otherwise but he is on the small end like Prograis moving to 147.

After the weigh in, the fighter can gain no more than 10 pounds.

Now? At 168 pounds, I don't think Eubank Junior gained much over night. But at 160 pounds, this may be a different story.

And its why the fight announcement was held up.

Eubank Junior is going to make the weight. But anyone who says these mandates will not effect his training, are not being honest.

I am asking you, that when a fighter fights at 160 or 168 pounds 'Are there re-hydration clauses'.

Was there a re-hydration clause when Alvarez fought Plant?

        • In the press conference today, Eubank Junior basically repeated what I have been saying.

Eubank Junior's main challenge is not with Conor Benn, it is with the catch weight and re-hydration clause 'That is his biggest challenge in this fight'.

Eubank Junior will not be 100%, he cannot be in the same condition as his last fight against Liam WIlliams. That fight was at 160 pounds, and there was no re-hydration clause.

This is still a exciting match up. But it is clear to see that, everything has been done to favor Conor Benn. He has been given the best opportunity to win.

I don't think Conor Benn poses a big enough threat to beat Eubank Junior, without all these mandates.

I am not trying to make out that Eubank Junior is a elite fighter.

But? He has been in with top world class fighters, never been stopped, never been decked, and always fought hard.

His beats wins are Liam Williams, James Degale. Those where two big fights, with big pressure, and he turned up big time.

Win or lose, Eubank Junior makes his opponents work.

But what I have noticed at 160 pounds? Is that his usual work rate and intensity has decreased. Instead he chooses to fight well within himself, very measured.

There are no sudden changes in intensity, which was always a trait of his at 168 pounds 'Or 160 pounds early in his career'.

He has a few decent fighters on his resume but he lost to BJS And Groves decisively and Liam Williams isn't anything special. DeGale was an ok champion but he was certainly past it when he fought Eubank and lost to Jack and Medina but got some gifts.

Chris Eubank Junior is admirable solid fighter mate. Nothing more, nothing less at this stage.

Kannabis Kid, I have a question. Are you a glory hunter?

You do know that, it is alright for people to support fighters who are not super elite, and undefeated? You do know that, it is alright, because not everyone can be the best of the best in this game?

I just find your attitude towards Chris Eubank Junior a bit off. The man is a solid fighter, comes to fight, always puts in a good effort win or lose.

I know Eubank Junior is not super elite. I know what type of fighter he is, and that is a game solid fighter.

You can support whoever you want I could care less doesn't change the fact that Chris Eubank Jr. is not a good fighter, he lost every time he stepped up in competition and he is only where he's at because of his father's name. It also doesn't change the fact that the initial statement was that this fight is nothing more than a cash grab on both ends.
