Why would sky give DAZN their only decent fighter they have

        Makes ZERO sense

A bit of a pointless fight, both should stay in their respective divisions. But It'll be fun nonetheless. I'm gonna try and grab tickets.

Not really a risk. Eubank isn't this savage puncher so even if Benn loses, he's not going to get brutally stopped or anything. And if he loses, he can just say 147 is my weight class and I just "dared to be great." If Benn wins, he will fast track himself to being the biggest draw in the UK minus the two HWs. It's actually a win/win for him, not that big of a risk.

It's a calculated risk. He can position himself at 147 again if he loses. Realistically he was never going to be fighting Crawford or Spence so was always going to be working towards a vacant belt.

Because he's only about money fights and they had nothing to offer him.

This fight is all wrong for Connor benn. Eubank has a chin and is the biggest guy here with experience. Eubank will be weight drained but Conor has a untested chin. He has never even gone 12 rounds too. Silly fight for him but i never took his career too serious.

Yeah I get that, if he loses, it's not his weight, and he can carry on at 147 regardless. In fact I mentioned that to someone in another thread the other day. But it's still risky in terms of a bigger guy. You say he's not a savage puncher, but that's against big middleweights and super mids. Benn is neither of these. And against a smaller guy it might be significant enough. Cedric Peynaud isn't a savage puncher, but still put Benn on his ass. It's still a big risk imo. I want to see him take risk. But against top welterweights that will further his career. Because that's the fights of which we can truly guage him.
