Both Eubanks, father and son have left fighters with permanent damage. And they weren't giving up 9 lbs plus whatever the rehydration is. It's risky enough.

And are you going to also mention that Eubank is likely going to have to drain himself if the fight is at 156 or 157?

Eubank isn't this killer, let's not do that. I mean any fighter can hurt their opponent, sometimes brutally. That's the risk these guys take damn near every time they enter the ring.

It's a well taken risk for Benn. The big risk is for Eubank in this fight as he will have to come down to a catchweight and won't get much credit for the win.

This is a lose/lose fight for Eubank and a Win/Win for Benn. If Eubank loses, he lost to a Welterweight, which won’t look good. if he wins, they will say, SO? You beat a Welterweight, you’re supposed to beat a guy 2 weights below you! Now if Benn wins, he beat a legit Middleweight, which looks good on his resume, if he loses, not a huge setback, he went up 2 weight divisions, he can easily come back from that loss, look at Brook.

There's risk for both. I'm not or wouldn't suggest otherwise. But I'm just of the opinion that Benn can minimize his by fighting at his own weight. You don't have to agree with me, that's cool. I'm not trying to change your mind here. I'm just offering my opinion as you are yours.

Pointless fight. Does absolutely nothing for eubank apart from pay him well and Benn if he wins it would be a feather in the cap but again apart from the nostalgia of the dad's there's no sense for this fight. Not the same weight or at the same point of there careers just a daft fight

No, it pretty much explains that he has no interest in that fight. That doesn't mean he's ducking him. This Eubank fight is a bigger fight, and it's the fight he wants. So why would he take a fight he isn't interested in? Just so he's not accused of ducking? What's he ducking exactly?

David Avanesyan, Alexis Rocha, Shakhram Giyasov, Alexander Bes***** or Egidijus Kavaliauskas those type of guys he should be fighting not jumping up to middleweight realistic opponents.

And you've heard Hearn say, we're not fighting those guys because I don't think Conor can beat them? Because I've certainly not heard that. You've listed 5 names there. Show me the links where Hearn mentions those 5 fighters and states that Conor can't beat them. I'll wait.

Those of you saying Eubank jr doesn't hit hard, I think Nick Blackwell who jr put in a coma for 7 days would disagree.

He doesn't knock people out, his power is different, he hits them very hard, with thudding shots.

I don't think so, Nick Blackwell himself credited Groves sparring him in preparation for the fight for the aforementioned coma and retirement, he even specifically mentions having George go at him with the same intensity and volume as Eubank which is beyond ridiculous given the difference in power and styles between the two.

They need Senior and Nigel in an exhibition at the top of the show to build up the crowd - the moment they hear Tina Turner and that doom toll, it's instant hype. Then the faceoff.

Either that OR have Senior walk Jr. out to Tina Turner while Nigel walks Conor out to the doom tool/Conroy Smith's "Dangerous" and have all four do the faceoff in the ring.

Icing on the cake is to re-enact the infamous interview. Complete with 35mm camera if they can. Even better if they can find the suits.
