Wasn't this supposed to be a WBA eliminator? Ortiz vs. Stanionis is a great match-up.

Typical Golden Boy card. Their overrated fighters vs bums. Ortiz would get crushed by Bud Crawford but I doubt the fight would ever happen. Golden Boy has no stars anymore so can't have them lose.

It was an eliminator but not a final eliminator. This is also my hope though, if Crawford and Spence unify, I hope the WBA orders Ortiz/Stanionis for the regular belt

Mikey McKinson was always gonna struggle against a puncher with an intense work rate. But these people who are saying McKinson just wanted to survive, are doing him a disservice. He came to win. That was evident from the start. Just because your not good enough and are finding it tough in there, doesn't mean your just trying to survive. McKinson had pride, and he put it on the line. He just wasn't good enough. But he managed to go further than the 18 before him. Not the actions of a guy just wanting to survive. He deserves more credit.

Yeah I don't know man. To me Ortiz is a big strong bruising guy with good speed, but he get's clipped and OFTEN. If you take a closer look at most if not all of his opponents they have been smaller than Ortiz and not very big punchers..

I don't think he's ready for Crawford at this very moment. He might be able to go 12 with Crawford but I think he get's hurt and dropped in that fight and If he did get stopped it wouldn't surprise me.. I think Crawford assessment of Ortiz when he was asked ringside was spot on..He's too aggressive at times and then he begins to slow down and his punch output drops in the later rounds

I thought Ortiz looked notably BIGGER than the British guy.

Should be Spence vs Crawford and Ortiz vs Ennis.. Winners face each other

                    IMO Ortiz can't beat Ennis.
