McKinson just has no power, couldn’t keep a big puncher like ortiz off him, but ortiz does get hit abit often ,although other top guys gets hit alot as well.

I don't think he's ready for Crawford at this very moment. He might be able to go 12 with Crawford but I think he get's hurt and dropped in that fight and If he did get stopped it wouldn't surprise me.. I think Crawford assessment of Ortiz when he was asked ringside was spot on..He's too aggressive at times and then he begins to slow down and his punch output drops in the later roundsChris Hanson likes this.

Fight went how I expected Ortiz in under 10. I'll give McKinson credit he's tough, dirty but tough. Lot of intentional head butts but he hung in there for a bit and ate a lot of nasty body shots along the way.

I might sound bizzare, but I like to see Vergil Ortiz Jr vs Blair Cobbs and Rashidi Ellis to rack up experience against South Paws. Mckinson was illusive and durable, but Vergil would be more careful against someone who had power.
