When HBO left the scene Showtime should have been the big beneficiary.

Instead Al Haymon took fights to a bunch of other networks and no one knew where to tune in on a regular basis. Plus COVID hit. Showtime is trying to recover but it's going to take a while for audiences to come back.

Showtime only puts on good fights when they don't cost them much money . How many fights have been on Showtime where each main event fighter made a million dollars?

SHO is trying: Jermell/Castano 2, Vargas/Magsayo, and Fulton/Roman were respectable match-ups. Benavidez/Lemiuex and Garcia/Benavidez...they can keep those. If Thurman/Barrios was on PPV, then it's almost a guarantee that Garcia/Thurman 2 will be.

SHO really needs to get Ennis a big fight or keep him very active if they can't.

Yes. Espn has had some good matchups as well.

I think overall the networks needs to just cater to us. Then as we get excited for big fights, the casuals will come.

It's a fight no one cared about. I hope to never see Jose Benavidez fight in the right again. What a joke he turned out to be.
