It’s sad that his legacy rides on his retirement that he’s gonna get destroyed in. He should’ve taken some risks in his career and fought wars and Kovalev while all 3 were at the height of their popularity. He instead fought bum after bum waiting for canelo to bless him thinking he’d win easily but the best laid plans of mice and men folks lol

It’s hard to predict a decision win for GGG against Canelo, but even at 40, GGG will outwork Canelo once again.

GGG fans are delusional and thankfully dying breed. Worse than Pacquiao fanboys, at least their guy had a resume worth bragging about.

He has 16 wins over TBRB/Ring Magazine top 10 opponents, 2 robberies against Canelo, and 6 wins over current/former world titlists (not including interim or Regular):
W vs Kassim Ouma TKO 10 (former IBF 154 champion)
W vs Daniel Geale TKO 3 (former unified 160 champion; dropped a belt to duck GGG previously)
W vs David Lemieux TKO 8 (unification; reigning IBF 160 champion)
W vs Kell Brook TKO 5 (reigning IBF 147 champion)
W vs Danny Jacobs UD 12 (future IBF 160 champion)
W vs Ryota Murata TKO 9 (unification; reigning WBA 160 champion)

I could see clamoring for Ward, though he and G were never in the same weight class. But him going up to 175 to fight a PRIME Kovalev would have been silly. Different than when Canelo went up to fight an old Kovalev.

You already did champ! You just couldn't beat the judges. Then again, Clenelo is almost impossible to beat by decision. The scores in the Bivol fight were ridiculous. He won 10 rounds. Clenelo/GGG 1 was easily 7-5 GGG! II could've gone either way, but of course it went to Clenelo.
