“All it matters is that you beat the guy that matters who everyone thinks you can’t beat.”
Okay that’s perfect! Everyone thinks you can’t beat Devin Haney. Also, it just so happens both of you fight on DAZN. I guess we’ll be seeing that one next….. right….?Comment

Ryan is just a jealous kid because he doesn’t have a belt, he has no chin and will get dropped every time he fights a top 5 boxer plus he has a lot of mental issues, now he can’t look at people when he gets interviewed, he just looks to his invisible buddyComment

Belts mean something, never forget the general public matters most. The more belts they see on a guy the more they will talk about him. It's sadly ingrained, can't think of any boxer off the top of my head in the HOF that never held any of these "major belts". Each one of these mobs are in someone's pocket, certain guys signed with certain promotions get certain belts really easy. We know that as hardcore boxing fans.
I have to say, you have 2 groups of young boxers. Some who want these belts because they dreamt of them since childhood. Then you have the other group who are springboarding off Internet clout, they are not here long term. Garcia and Tank will not box much off their 1st losses, they have a fall back. For guys like Haney those belts earn him fame, commentary gigs etc.
As much as we hate these organization they still mean far too much for guys who can't become internet famous otherwise. The belt mobs are not going anywhere until the sport is completely dead, too much money on the table.Comment
