Crawford doesn't really want the fight. He tried to gain sales and views on his previous fights by using Spence's name. He talked a lot of shit until Spence said he wanted Crawford next. Now you don't see Crawford talking like before. He doesn't have a contract to Top Rank with ESPN exclusivity to duck while using Spence's name. Now he has to put up or shut up.

Crawford is a delusional diva and a narcissist. He won't do interviews, shows, radio, podcasts, etc... with anyone that doesn't over rate and over hype him. Bob Arum admitted to losing # off promoting Crawford. Crawford was overpaid for his shit resume of opponents that he cherry picked. Now Crawford is asking for too much $. The moron thinks he deserves as much or more than Spence. Crawford has 1 belt while Spence has 3. Crawford does less buys on PPV when compared to Spence. So the hold up is obviously Crawford and him asking for too much is a duck. He is pricing himself out to duck Spence.

Crawford is almost 35 years old and fought nobody elite unless they are a shell of their former selves. He fought mostly bums and faded former champs. He needed mandated just to fight Shawn Porter. His best win is either inactive and blown up Gamboa, Postol or ready to retire Shawn Porter.

Crawford was put on ***** street by blown up and inactive Gamboa. He had to low blow washed up glass jaw Amir Khan to stop him. Peg legged gun shot victim Jose Bumavidez took rounds off Crawford until his bum leg gave out. Eurobum Mean Machine dropped him. Washed up and weight drained quitter Brook damn near closed his eye within a few rounds before he quit. Ready to retire Porter was winning rounds off Crawford and Kenny Porter stopped the fight to probably cash in on a bet he made.

The guy knows he is overrated and over hyped. He re-signed with Top Rank and ESPN exclusivity to duck the top welterweights for a reason. He knew the top guys were at PBC and Top Rank was a hinderence to fighting them. He now has nowhere to run and cherry pick so he wants a big payday to take a loss to the top welterweight.

Spence has 3 belts and sells more. Crawford needs to accept the fact that he is the CLEAR B side and he deserves less than Spence. He should take what's offered or just retire. The promotors have got to be able to turn a profit, its not easy in the current world climate where numbers are down across the board and the cost of a fight like this is so high, so for it to happen it has to be economically viable.

dead line call each fighter and clearly said "If you truly want fight demand your team produce it" My
superiors are preparing proposals for next event and won't be looking back after the dead line has passed.

Your comment is just way out of line and I’m not sure what your motivation is with that but sounds like you have missed Spence’s entire career. The original poster is right, Crawford is in the weaker position, he doesn’t sell well and he has been losing his promoter money. Without Spence and pbc, where exactly does he go from here?

I’m not biased towards any promoter. Spence beat Brook for the IBF in England in brooks prime. Thats much different than the the kell Brook that fought bud. Porter could’ve beat bud but he was beat mentally before the fight he never thought he could win. Spence fights at cowboy stadium. He sells a lot of tickets a bd a decent PPV buy rate. Not canelo level but his PPVs make money. Bud got dropped by his promoter cause he can’t sell ice in a heat wave. Bud wants 50/50 but he ain’t a Ppv draw he don’t sell at the gate and he only has 1/4 of the undisputed title. 60/40 ish split is fair. Spence takes this fight all day too anyone that’s watched them since amateurs knows this
