Pray it happens. It's the only fight that matters for either of them. Although if there's been no contact with Crawford not sure how it can ever be made.....

I doubt this fight ever gets made.
I get the sense Crawford is trying to make up for lost/wasted time by asking for the moon and obsessing over what Spence will be getting. And I get the feeling that Spence really doesn’t care one way or the other because in his heart of hearts he doesn’t want to fight anymore - but he first has to save face by making it appear he did everything he could to make the Crawford fight happen. This fight is 3 years past its expiration date anyway
Espinoza should move on and focus his attention on making Garcia-Davis instead of trying to stall in hopes that Garcia will get frustrated and publicly call out Golden Boy and DAZN.

What's happening is that Spence is trying to negotiate while Crawford didn't take advice from Devin Haney.
Crawford needs to accept ALL terms as the B-Side. Then go in there and prove what you say to be true.
If he'd done that, it'd have been signed with a date by now.
That it's taking so long means Crawford is trying to make unreasonable demands, and someone is having to explain to him that his numbers don't back it up.
Said person is probably displaying Arum's quote about losing enough money to build a house in Beverly Hills ("nice house too") up on the screen as evidence.JohnnyRebel

The real rumors suggest the opposite. But since neither you or me are directly involved in negotiations, how about we shut up, see what happens, and blame sides if/when the fight falls apart. You fake fans make me sick.Last edited by FLY TY; 07-30-2022, 09:52 AM.

4. spencers best win is a lightweight in mickey Garcia who he should of ko'd but didnt
1) he never fought Thurman because Thurman made excuses everytime he was asked about the fight (kind of like AJ did with Wilder)
2) Brook got his his ass beat, BOTH eye sockets broken by ggg and then Spence, also completely abandoned the WW division, and hadn't fought there in 3 years before Crawford....yet I bet you dummies give Crawford tons of credit for his brook win.
3) there's still sentiment to this day, that Porter and Garcia beat Thurman from many fans (personally I feel Thurman won both fights by 2 rounds). Nobody disputes Errol clearly beat Garcia, and even if you can't score fights, and thought it was razor close, surely the KD against Porter in the 11th, should've solidified the W for Spence. Did Thurman drop Porter?
4) Whether or not Spence should've stopped Mikey is pointless to argue years later. The fact is, Spence pounded on the guy worse than anyone had ever done, en route to a 12-0 victory. Mikey has never been the same, lost again afterwards, and retired 2 fights later. If you don't think that beating he took from Spence had any lasting effects, then you need to crawl back into whatever UK hole you came out of. Peace!JohnnyRebel likes this.

Like the Bobfather, TR Chief, said, some billionaire guy or entity has to subsidize this fight to make it happen.
Both fighters want silly money that is not compatible with the expected PPV earnings. This is not charity. People around need to make money too.

Crawford better not be pricing himself out.
He needs to accept B-side in order get a shot at unification. Just like Devin Haney had no problem doing.

We're not getting this fight unless Bud is realistic. His entire time at welter he took the easy route and now feels he deserves larger piece of a pie that Errol did more to build.
