The only Cruiserweight that gave him legitimate trouble in the pro’s was Breidis. He beats Gassiev, Bellew etc easily.

Usyk has yet to face a HW with real technical ability. I think somebody like Fury gives him big problems.

Some of those clips are just getting caught by punches. It's boxing, you expect him to never be hit?
Anyway, AJ hurt him with a body shot too, at least as much as some of those other shots!

Fighters going up in weight become stronger usually. Usyk is 6”3 and has to cut weight to make CW which weakens him but gets hit by lesser punchers . He’d have a better career at CW and probably go undefeated ,he’s got his work cut out for him here It he also has many rounds with the Klitschkos which helped him a lot prepare for these big unit punchers .

Fury ,Joyce,Hrgovic and A.J who will defeat him this time will make the division not so attractive for him going forward but make no mistake Usyk can defeat anyone on any given night if they aren’t on point .

good observation! Cruiser is an interesting division... At times it is weak but, at times it is a premier division. This is because the weight amount is not as rare as weighing over 200 pounds, and cruisers can be the premier punchers who usually are smaller heavyweights if you look historically. So actually this should not be a suprise.

I should explain: The more people that potentially can be in a weight division the harder the competition.
