I’ve been saying it for years, people are starting to understand. Ryan will brutally ko tank. His height will be his downfall. Gonna walk right into a check hook and good night Irene. Garcia stops haney as well. Loma and Shakur are 50/50. -
Great power display by King Ry against an overmatched, cherry picked and gate keeping fighter; However, I wasn’t impressed. Moreover, I still don’t seeing defeating Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. Also, he still fears Devin Haney because he’s still constantly ducking him while Haney is holding all of the belts at 135.Leave a comment:

For those that are out there making a fuss about Ryan Garcia being a star, and this and that, I've 2 words for you. Bam and Rodriguez. Let that sink in, and go and reassess your evaluation of Garcia. Maybe someday, but he's not there yet.Leave a comment:

Good win for Garcia. But what new have we learned about him? Nothing really. He's no further forward than he was a year and a half ago, when he beat Campbell. He's a world level fighter no doubt. But there are levels in this game. He needs an elite opponent. And at 135 that's only 3 names. Loma, Haney and Davis. I'm expecting JoJo next. Which is no more or less than beating Fortuna to be honest. If he goes to 140 proper, that's a different situation. If I'm GBP, I'm making a big offer to get the Ramirez, Zepeda winner. Both Top Rank and GBP just worked together on the Barboza, Zorrila fight. So, as long as the price is right, there should be no excuses. It's a big sell in the Am/Mex community. That said, most want the Garcia, Davis fight. At any weight will do. I'm just not sure I see it happening. Garcia's career is at a crucial point now. He can do what Haney has done, and seek the biggest fights ( they've not always came to him ) for legacy. Or he can be another Davis. Very popular and very talented, but also very protected. We're at that juncture now. Time will tell.Leave a comment:

Exercise helps all of us relieve stress whether you are hitting a bag or running. It's a completely different story in combat. Ask any professional athlete what the most important aspect of being a professional is and they will all say staying calm. This is even more pronounced in combat. If he was having anxiety issues it's perfectly understandable trying to get it under control.Credit to Ryan, he's sharp and not afraid to throw punches, and he's stronger then people think. I just wish that he fought Fortuna a year ago instead of waiting for Fortuna to lose to Diaz and be a year older. I just don't understand his whole time off for mental wellness. You'd think the opportunity to punch someone in the face would be a welcome distraction from whatever stress you're under. I love lifting weights and hitting bags, it lets me forget all my problems, I dunno why it's different for Ryan.Leave a comment:

Fortuna is a featherweight at best. Good sparring for Garcia but these kind of fights wont help him reach his potential.Leave a comment:

Well said..
That’s because Davis has yet to face any formidable opponent with an ounce of power. Of course he’ll walk through people until he gets popped. The same goes for Ryan too. I’d say Davis has the slight edge on power and Ryan the edge on speed. Timing and speed beats power most times however Davis does have that X factor. They BOTH need to stop milking lower tier and face someone worth their weight. Davis flaunts a fake trinket and Ryan none. It’s time to stop the boxing nonsense and get back to the best facing the best at all times. Until then boxing is, will be and has been an utter joke ran by clown car promoters and a dumb enough public to buy the hype of all fighters, their tweet, twit, twat, Facebook wars and garbage opponents.
