Oh, and my prediction for Garcia-Tank? It likely doesn’t happen, but Garcia KO in 4 if it does.

People can hate all they want, and there is going to be a bit of a rebellion of hardcore boxing fans against a boxer/instagram star, but here’s the fact:

    - Ryan Garcia was SCARY good last night. As in, he will literally scare opponents from taking a fight with even if it’s for a ton of money.

You can’t deny what you’re seeing. Fortuna fought on the same level as Jojo Diaz, got beat by a couple rounds, and Diaz gave Haney an excellent fight. Garcia just DESTROYED Fortuna.

Garcia’s problem is going to be preserving his hands, because the whip and force on those punches is so ridiculous the hands might not hold up.

The reason why Fortuna didn’t look himself is he froze when he felt that leather coming in on him in the early rounds.

Yes, he did what was expected of him by knocking out an older, out of shape and shopworn fighter whose better days are now behind him.

Trust me, if there was so much of a smidgeon of hope of Javier defeating Ryan then Golden Boy would have never agreed to the fight. He was a handpicked opponent coming off a loss.

Also, Gervonta and Javier fight nothing alike. Tank have had a long history of huge success against taller, wiry and gangly fighters like: Mario Barrios and Rolly Romero. Tank is both defensively and more fundamentally sound than Fortuna.

It’s very hard to catch him because he is very difficult to find and hit.
Only way to find out is for them to fight
I think Ryan would be a very live dog and I would put my money on him

Ryan will continue to fight in house GBP mid level opposition for the forseeable future. The only question is will his fans and the dazn cuckery offer the same criticism they have for the other LW’s Ryan and 8ball dela lingerie continue to avoid.

Tank does have power and all but will he be willing to get inside to use it vs Ryan’s reach and power
Like I’ve mentioned , I’m not his biggest fan but I am beginning to believe the hype
I liked what I saw last night
His patience was incredible , ( before beginning with Goosen , Ryan would of jumped into the fire putting himself in danger )
He just looks very comfortable in there and will only get much better
If not Tank , then bring on Haney

Fortuna was already resigned to losing the fight the moment he signed up for it. Judging by his build He didn’t train at all but only cut the weight.

He just simply laid down and refused to try. Tank will be coming prepared to win if the two ever squared off.

Gotta give Garcia props for his performance and for getting good size crowd for a card that lacked
I thought Fortuna would put up a good performance for the first four rounds but it was not the case tonight
Garcia seems to have bought into Goosen’s teachings , much more patient and every shot he delivers is thumping
Not being a big Garcia fan , I must admit he looked very good and I’m believing the hype
I hope he’s serious about taking Stank on next , I think that would be a great fight
I think he’s all wrong for Stank style wise and see the same ending , just in the later rounds
Just his speed will be troublesome for Stank

    Not so sure about that
I think the kid is as ready right now than he’s ever been
Seems like Goosen’s has ignited some fire in the kid

Ryan is thirsty for Tank, and Haney is thirsty for Ryan! I think Arum might be more willing to work with Oscar, for a fight at 140, than Floyd! If Haney were to fight Ryan at 140, it would allow him to have a big PPV fight, and avoid having to go back to Australia, for a fight no one is interested in seeing, including Arum! That's called a "win-win!" Haney is the one that showed up to the fight, not Tank, not Teofimo! That should tell you something!
