That’s because Davis has yet to face any formidable opponent with an ounce of power. Of course he’ll walk through people until he gets popped. The same goes for Ryan too. I’d say Davis has the slight edge on power and Ryan the edge on speed. Timing and speed beats power most times however Davis does have that X factor. They BOTH need to stop milking lower tier and face someone worth their weight. Davis flaunts a fake trinket and Ryan none. It’s time to stop the boxing nonsense and get back to the best facing the best at all times. Until then boxing is, will be and has been an utter joke ran by clown car promoters and a dumb enough public to buy the hype of all fighters, their tweet, twit, twat, Facebook wars and garbage opponents. ALL OF THEM

Just made a thread about the interwebs blowing up talking about the kid. He's a star and boxing needs stars more than ever right now.

Was also surprised seeing him use such a sharp jab to keep at Fortuna at range. He normally tends to be the aggressor. Yes, the fight took longer than when he goes guns blazing but this will allow him to polish his skills for when his speed starts degrading when he starts moving up and with age.

Too bad he still lacks head movement though, I mean whenever he thought Fortuna was too close, he either clinched or ducked to avoid getting hit.

Ryan ain't nothing. He better forget about his dream fight or maybe work for it? Fight and beat Cruz or Rolly first?

And yeah, those big boys at 140, would run a line on him.

    That's it for Ryan.
How old are you? This is a discussion forum don't get all In your feelings.

Im letting you know Myself and most don't see anything in Davis he's a nothing he gets outboxed by journeymem YES journeymen level opposition. Ryan has a lot more going for himself he's faster, better body puncher never seen him outboxed they way Davis often is. Again you have your opinion but your opinion is very flawed.

I like how all the Mexican fans think Garcia has a chance against Tank, seriously Garcia will get knocked out cold if he takes that fight.

Come on man, that's not levels above Ryan Garcia, and to be honest I don't care much for the kid he can be a bit delusional himself at times but still, I know what I'm looking at in the ring talent wise, regardless of how I feel about his personality. He's good, and improving.

Tanks getting older and breaking down, hurting his hands. Tank was arguably losing to Rolly before he got a little tired an over anxious. I like Garcia to not make those same mistakes. Tank waits, and waits, and barely throws any punches for long stretches. Everyone is not going to engage on Tanks terms when they can just pot shot and run the clock out on him, Particularly someone tall like Garcia that possesses enough pop to keep Tank honest. There's a reason why Floyd doesn't want to put Tank in with certain guys, pretty much anyone with good skills and cerebral like Loma, Haney, Stevenson and probably not Garcia either after tonight lol
What was very mind blowing tonight was Ryan’s poise , how calm he was and patient
Not sure if that’s Goosen’s doing or not but Garcia looked like a mature fighter ready for the upper echelon imo
Not his biggest fan but gotta give him props
For what I saw tonight , I would say he gives Tank a real challenge and most likely wins in similar fashion as this evening
