I'm not on the side of fighters here. I'm fed up with fans being charged for Rolly Romero, and Javier Fortuna fights. I honestly care less about how much Tank and Ryan make for those fights. As a boxing fan, and one who actually pays when a fight warrants it, I think I have the right to demand good fights.

I honestly don't care whether Ryan fights Tank or Haney. I don't care if Tank fights Ryan or Haney...just fight a threat.

But when they fight guys like Fortuna and Rolly, while saying "belts don't matter," when anyone with a brain knows they'd make more against Devin Haney for Undisputed, then Javier Fortuna for nothing, then as a fan, I gotta call it like I see it.

For the record, I think Tank stops Haney. But what I won't do, is continue to excuse the dude for not taking tough fights, and charge $80 for fights against Rolly Romero, and Issac Cruz. All the while saying "**** Haney and his belts." If the kid is an easy fight, why continue to make excuses?

Again, I'm a fan who will pay for good fights. I'm not giving Dazn $20 & PBC $80 for no hopers...and I got the money.

I'm just wondering when it became cool for fans to accept mediocre fights, and care about these dude's sanctioning fees?
My argument is not even mainly on sanctioning fees. I don't consider these legit belts.

Man. Imagine saying that to the face of those who bled and sacrificed so much for those trinkets. A lot to be said from a never was/never will be spectator.

Some of them feel they were cheated and very ******. Modern examples everywhere.
Fuck the sanctioning belt orgs and their belts. How about that? Better, man?

These 4 criminal belt orgs need to be investigated.

Then what's a legit belt? You sound like you're promoting either Ryan or Tank.

I just find it odd that the only guys claiming belts don't matter are 2 guys without belts...

I've not heard 1 other person, in any other weight class, say this. Even the retired fighters being quoted, always fought for belts...Floyd Mayweather, proudly wore that WBC belt he paid sanctioning fees on, for every fight. Same as andre ward, who proudly paid his WBA fees until the end.

Now Ryan Garcia who's never been a champion, and tank Davis, who fought for secondary titles his whole career are pioneers? All the while, Mayweather promotions and golden boy, expect fans to continue to pay their hard-earned money to watch these guys fight bum after bum, hoping a fight one day gets made between the 2...nah I'm good. **** Ryan and tank. I will continue to stream their fights until they fight quality opponents. Not my job to make them rich.

Dude talks like he's beaten legit comp. Other than being dropped by Luke, he hasn't fought much of anybody. Haney and Tank are a few steps beyond Ryan. Stevenson is too. Kambosos and Teo have done more.

He's just a young talented fighter who is trying to make noise for himself while he has a fight. Means nothing until he fights another top fighter.

Nobody cares how you watch your fights, stream or not. I'm not even a Ryan fan.
Talk to Mike Tyson, Andre Ward, and Floyd about the value of these crooked belts.

I’d love this talk from Ryan if it actually led to big fights but sometimes I get tired of hearing someone telling me what he’s going to do year after year but never actually doing it.
