"Resume" is overrated thing in boxing

People judge "resumes" based on how well they know guys somebody fought.

So, casuals felt like Canelo would beat Bivol because they knew GGG, Floyd, Lara, Cotto much better than Barrera, Pascal, Joe Smith jr.

Unfortunately Bivol has always been too big to fight Mayweather and Cotto and to beat their asses like he beat Canelo.

"Resume" is not very important. How much did his "resume" help Joshua against Usyk?

It’s something. It’s not the be all end all but it has some value.

Resume is about how great you want to be all time. Just cos you got a great Resume don't mean people can assume your favourite all the time o r unbeatable.
Llike nel o was favourite against bivol just cos he had better resume? But that's silly as bivil would beat any nel o victim at 175. Ali had great resume that's why he's goat, even if Tyson fury beat Ali h2h

Totally disagree. To me, resume is the best way to rate the quality of a professional fighter.

I disagree, not all skilled fighters are going to get big fights such as GGG or David Tua, but it is proof of their accomplishments of those who do.

Of course a Fury fan is wanting to downplay the worthiness of a resume
