Arthur may not not Toney out but once he tasted the power he would probably be back peddling all night and lose a decision.

      Toney-Beterbiev is a great matchup.

The most common way it plays out is Beterbiev as the aggressor at mid range with frequent close range exchanges. Beterbiev’s preference is to press and attack on the inside, while JT’s is to be pressed and counterattack on the inside, and I see Beterbiev being drawn into an inside fight and Toney getting the better of the exchanges.

There are so few elite close range fighters like Toney today at 175 that we might never see him against that style. But if Canelo ever fights Beterbiev, I do see that fight being the closest to Toney-Beterbiev and it would be a war.

As I said, Toney was a fat man at 175.

Eastern euro robobum is an easy style for toney
          Easy work for Beter

I think Toney's variation looks like Moorer's. he positions himself at the same angle which is integral to how the roll is used. Walcott uses his shoulder movements from a squared up position, or while setting up footwork in a different way entirely. As far as Charle's never really l;ookled at how he used/if he used the shoulder roll per se.

                - - Look closely to see Two Ton Face attached on his shoulder, hence he never distinguished between blocking punches wif his ugly mug or his shoulder.

What does Iceman John Scully think? He used to spar with Toney and now he is one of the trainers for Beterbiev
why don't you tag him and ask him? He doesn't show his face all that often these days but he pops up now and again. Suspect he might go with diplomatic non-commital here though.

Rahman and Peter did not have a great variety of punches and lacked skill to be true elites. Sure, they had enormous power but lacked the skillset to trap you or put you in a position to hurt you if you were as skilled as Toney.

Beterbiev punches differently - his form and variety is totally different. Sure he doesn't hit as hard as a HW but he'll hit you a lot more than them and he'll be able to trap you, cut you off and maul you in ways these big lumbering oafs could not do.
