    But we'll see.
I'm not saying they are not good boxers. They are.

People usually recognize a shining star when they first see one, unless they are haters.
    It's a rare quality. I don't think either has that. We'll see.

So far the fans' estimation of these two doesn't much their accomplishments, IMO.

Years ago, I just watched HBO and ESPN, and I didn't know any promoters.
Boxing has to adjust with the times, I guess. We can't whine about it too much.

Bam Rodriguez is a potential star. He needs a much larger exposure than a random, haphazard app only the hardcores know about. That's a star killer.

There’s a lot of factors and by the looks of it some of what I have to say has been said already. But I’ll try to add my two cents.

People have already covered how this matchup, even though it’d be epic if it did happen, would be high risk and low reward for these two fighters who both believe they’ve been doing enough to deserve a title shot and don’t feel like they need to fight each other first in order to prove that. To them, this fight will only be worthwhile when one of them has the title.

But there might also be a conflict of interest with their promotion companies. Ennis currently has a multi-fight contract with Showtime, while Ortiz is with Golden Boy Promotions and DAZN who last I checked aren’t on good terms with Showtime. This is supposedly the reason why Davis vs Garcia also hasn’t happened and yet and probably won’t happen anytime soon.

          Bro, look at Haney.

I remember you wanting Haney and the Charlos to get some shine, even Andrade.
You made threads like this one about them. I really respect that, critical or not.

Haney has all the belts now, but no takers. What's going on here?
Shouldn't the main divisional rivals jump at the "undisputed" BS?

No takers? What are you talking about? Kambosos wants the rematch and Arum is hoping to get Loma a shot. It because of the belts

Loma is a non-entity in the division for now. Kambosos is a bum.
Arum is looking into ways to get out of it.

That fight put everyone around the world into a snooze.
              Rematch? Hell to the no.

No takers, and Arum is stuck with the bill.

If I were one of them (Ennis, Ortiz) I would send feelers that I'm ready for the fight.
Not exactly expecting offers would be flying and landing all over the place.
The aim is just to see reactions, put something out there for people to talk about.
Fight doesn't have to happen soon.

So... I have to agree that these folks are lifeless, they're not creative in coming up
with unique things to promote themselves.

Excellent post. I'll still keep watching them.

They need to talk more crap.
