Canelo's top wins would be Lara..Jacobs and Cotto imo...GGG's would be Jacobs, Murray and Lemieux...I don't see a ton of separation there..... winning 7-5 vs a great Lara...and going 12 with a shot fat Cotto...is not imo better than 8 Round destruction of Lemieux...and 11 round destruction of Murray..... Vanes was inactive and moving up in weight...but he wasn't shot like SSM more or less was..... I don't think going 12 with Mosley when Canelo did, or 12 with Trout, are better wins than GGG running through Monroe and Geale.....

I'll also tell you how I score them...generally give a 'full point' for a good hard clean shot...and a 'half point' for a punch that is a scoring blow but isn't necessarily super hard or clean.

I think you are once again another on here who fails to realize that what makes 99% of great fighters great - is beating 9/10 or even 10/10 of the good solid pros they faced...most greats only face 1-2 or maybe 3 other greats in their primes/best weights, and usually they have mixed results there.

And ggg fought his whole time at 160, this is his first fight at 168, meanwhile canelo just fought at 175 and didn’t look hurt once, he took those punches with ease, oh and he’s also cleaned up the 168 division, took them all out with EASE, one after the other, didn’t break sweat.

Watching gggs last fight, he was getting hurt to the body, you can see it. And guess who is an EXPERT at hitting to the body, you guessed it. Everywhere in this fight is advantages for canelo, there is no advantages for ggg.

Just cause ggg stared at canelo for a few seconds in a face off , don’t mean anything, he’s getting brutally beaten and I’m not watching a living legend going out like this!

Murata was pushing a pace that Canelo can't/won't push, And Murata ended up paying for it in the end. Also, I've seen most of GGG's fights. They tend to follow a similar pattern. Early on he outlands his opponents by a heavy margin, but he still is open to some shots and counters, and people tend to remember those more than the volume work GGG does.

Which in a way makes sense - you are always surprised a bit when the favorite takes a shot or two even if he is winning the rounds.

I didn't see any excess vulnerability vs Murata really - Murata pushed a heavy pace, but with that pace, he took a ton of damage in those first 4 rounds and was basically a punching bag after that. Canelo won't fight that way.

And again I didn't see any serious issues there for GGG that were any different really than some shots he took vs Derevy, or Brook, or Jacobs, or Monroe. GGG isn't too hard to hit, partially because he is so active and pushes a fast pace and throws a ton of punches.

Canelo should be favored legitimately, but it's not unheard of to think that GGG can outwork him again like he did the first 2 times. It will be a fight of Canelo's counterpunching vs GGG's activity. Whoever does a better job there will win. Well, should win. GGG could 'win' but still lose on the official cards.

Have you ever seen a replay of the rematch? If you haven't I recommend you do so, but take out pencil and paper and score it. I was also swayed by the HBO crew's biased commentating and thought that Canelo won the 2nd one when I watched it live. I used to argue with other people about it, but then I rewatched it a while back and I couldn't give Canelo any better than a draw. I would love to see your scorecard for the rematch if you really thought Canelo won it clean. In my view, GGG won the first one wide and won a close decision in the second. Canelo certainly did better and fought more on the front foot in that second fight, but GGG adjusted and did more IMO. As far as the 3rd fight goes, I think that's going to be the best one yet. GGG is special, so he's not going to just roll over, even at 40.
