For instance wilder stiverne two..wilder was quick jab working, taunting flaunting folding him up like a gym mat throwing lasers in the midst of wilder shyt...That was a Tyson Roy Jones swag all in one

      1. I believe that Tyson Fury was unbeatable the night he fought Vlad, nobody in history could have beaten Fury on that night.
      2. I believe that Paul Williams was unbeatable the night he fought Margarito, nobody in history could have beaten Williams on that night.
I'm sure there are more instances, but these are the 2 that stick out in my mind since I conceived (thought wise) this remarkable phenomenon. I followed Williams since his first fight aired on FNF or whatever it was and he never fought like that in his entire career which sparked the thought to me.

If Ali or Tyson fought the Fury that beat Vlad and I am big fans of Ali and Tyson, I don't think either of them win. I honestly believe he had tapped into something that made him unbeatable.

This isn't about styles or skills, but more of an embodiement like Flow State. If you don't know what Flow State it, Google it!

Do you think some fighters can enter an Unbeatable Mode at certain points of time?
Fury was fighting a fighter that night who never took one to give one

Plenty of past history fighters would have walked through the punches fury was throwing that night to land their own bombs

Wladimir always resets whenever close to getting tapped and unfortunatley for wlad fury was the bigger fighter and therefore wladimir was never In his own safe reach advantage he had every night prior to this one

Wladimir learned from his defeat against fury and fought more care free against joshua otherwise it would have been more of the same

Wladimir would have certainly took more risks if the rematch with fury ever happened you can tell by the Joshua fight

Even the wilder 2 fight fury wasnt unbeatable ...he was fighting wilder who had zero boxing ability

Lots of past champions had feints and lots of their own awkward tricks that fury has never even seen in sparring let alone a fight

Fury has beaten 2 good fighters his entire career but to say he could beat anyone in history whilst being a glass Canon himself is ridiculous

If wilder can land those bombs on fury imagine what a set up Larry Holmes could do ...he'd freeze fury with a feint and land some cracking punches

Don't get me wrong fury is awkward for anybody but these old school greats can read adapt and turn things around with one big set up even if a fights not going their way

        Roy Jones at his peak

        Mike Tyson at his peak

        looked unbeatable

Yeah agree that Tyson - Wlad that Tyson looked unbeatable. I mean wlad was supposed to be the man, the lineal guy, and everyone else had such a hard time solving him and Tyson made him look like a ***ing robot, Fury looked so fluid, quick and lose in comparison. Wlad was 38 though and always looked kind of stiff.

From memory you gave Tyson Fury against an old Wlad as an example of unbeatable mode. I watched an interview with Fury a week or two after the fight and he said he still felt sick and still had a headache from how hard he got hit in the 12th round of that fight. If he can be in flow state and get hit that hard then he can't have been unbeatable. He put on a very good performance that night but he wasn't unbeatable, no one is. Fury also did a very good job on Wlad before the fight (in terms of psychology)

When I say fact it's fact. I know what a fact is, my level of education is extremely high. It always come down to skill you simpleton. If Reggie Stricland hits Flow State against Tommy Hearns he'll never win if they met 1000 times.

This may be the dumbest thing I've ever read: If he can be in flow state and get hit that hard then he can't have been unbeatable.

Stick to what you know and don't inject yourself into big boy discussions.

Please use your high level of education to explain why? because writing insults and refusing to enter a discussion actually shows a low level of education and makes you look ******.

I mean it's easy to to be a loudmouth on a forum, but most of us don't do it because we know it takes us look like a 14 year old kid pretending to be someone we are not... So why did you even start this topic if you didn't want to discuss it?

Why what? I'm not ENTERING a discussion now am I? This is page 7 is it not?? Low level, ok my guy. You have no idea who you're talking to.

Being a loudmouth has NOTHING to do with facts. Where does being loud = no facts?

If you bothered to read my posts, you would see that I've been long done and said I will be presenting another follow up thread. If you're not going to get into the discussion properly, get out of it.

I'm not sure you've even graduated highschool and if you did, they pushed you through. I can't perform on a low level like this so I'm just going to slam the door on your fingers every chance I get. If you want to engage, read EVERYTHING I WROTE then maybe drum up something that doesn't sound like you just finished Rosetta Stone for English II.

The thread really seems to be 'the best performances/masterclass'.

Probably mentioned already, but Calzaghe v Lacy
