You got younger boxers that don't really let their hands go for long stretches like Tank, the power just bails him out..If it wasn't for that Tank would have several loses on his record at this point...
He did look good for 38 but he for whatever reason didn't let his hands go enough. This fight was almost like Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley the first time. Angulo got outlanded by 109 to 78 the jab was the difference

Idk why he didn't let his hands go more I'm assuming age , if he would've he could've KO'D Berlanga. Édgar in a weird place now he doesn't have the punch résistance to fight his old style of search and destroy.

He needs to get with someone like Ismael Salas get off main events and just work on perfecting a style that fits him right now he's in no man's land

The ESPN crew called it, the headline out of this fight is Edgar biting Angulo

Berlanga is ideal victim for Canelo in near future. And they will say: oh, Canelo is just on another level again, he beat the young lion.

Berlanga is not what Top Rank had hoped for. He's just a B level fighter and could never beat a top fighter.

Punch stats says otherwise Berlanga outlanded him 108 to 79 . The difference was the jab , your just a Berlanga hater . Don't worry tho Edgar will lose soon enough although he won it was deff not impressive and will lose to top 10 opponents

Poolanga is a fraud! The good thing he's in hands of the gangster Arum who arranges the fights. This guy is a nobody...

I hoped Berlanga would silence the critics but in truth predicted that Angulo would stop him. He won more rounds off the jab but other than that it was uninspiring drab performance. It's ok to not stop Angulo (the man has a proven track record of being incredibly tough), but Berlanga looked like nothing special.

In a few days I have to go visit my brother in law who is cuckoo for Berlanga and he is going to be talking a lot of crap to me over how I got my prediction wrong, but I firmly believe it's only a matter of time before Berlanga takes a massive L unless he just sets feelings aside and switches trainers and gets somebody to really polish him.

The minute I heard about his 1st round KO streak it raised a massive red flag. Good for you, that's a massive PR hook...but you're getting little experience in. This dude is nowhere near title fight durability.

I hope the best for him, but I think he's going into the list of experiencing a first loss via KO/TKO...and whoever does it is going to get enormous credit as if beating him will be an accomplishment.

Sorry for going on a tangent, last night was an incredibly boring match.

The great irony is that Berlanga was fighting his future self. A tough guy who can go rounds with top tier fighters but can't get passed them. The fact that he got so frustrated to the point of biting is disconcerting if you are his trainer. Flat footed, poor head movement and not putting together combos when needed. Xander Zayas has a brighter future and top rank should shift the attention to him.
