You tell me I'm wrong and tell me he's not ready for better competition, but then argue that he's still green because he only fights bums? Huh?? How is he supposed to get better if he doesn't step up his competition? He had a bad night against Hogan, so he should fight no-hopers for the rest of his career? Nobody is paying you to promote or manage fighters for a good reason.
I can go down to the bus station right now and blast 50 out of 50 men there with little to no problem. Does that mean I'm ready to fight a professional boxer and expect to win? No it doesn't. I got to step my game up. Get some amateur fights (been there) in the novice division, grab a gg title or move up to open class, fight the more experienced amatuers, then to the nationals ---> following me yet?
Why do you think Floyd didn't fight Oscar De La Hoya in his first 5 fights? Because Oscar would have beaten him. Believe it or not, there is a methodology to being a professional fighter and news flash, being a champion ain't shit anymore. There are plenty of ways to manipulate an opportunity to hold a major title.
Munguia fought for a vacant against bum Jose Carlos Paz (21-6-1) for a WBC trinket than fought eurobum Liam Smith for the real WBC in a vacant affair because the fight he won it in against 16-0-1 Williams ---> Williams didn't have it to lose.
Bad night against Hogan? Hogan is a fucking bum, a bad night against Hogan is not stopping him dead in his tracks, not getting your brain bashed in.

Considering Munguía keeps turning down the opportunity to fight for a real title, and chooses tomato cans to fight instead, should say everything. Other people in the mandatory slot jump at the chance to fight for the belt, but not Munguía. That's twice now in his last two fights. If that doesn't make you question, something is wrong.
