They know Charlo would've beat him and they simply didn't want to risk it, so they pulled the DAZN excuse out in the 24th hour.
We can't say for sure if Charlo would've beaten Mungia....that's where I'm going to stop you. Did you see how he showed up against Maciel last June? Wasn't all that impressive, right? So, we can't say that Charlo would've done anything with that performance he turned in.

Munguia may not have a great resume, but it's no better or worse than either of the Charlo's. Especially Jermall. At least Jaime is still 7 years younger than those two clowns. Go back to when Jermell and Jermall were 25, their resumes were no better than Jaime.

First time in my life I’ve ever seen someone refer to themselves as “African American.”

I like Munguia because he's a crowd pleaser, but even after watching him for 5 years, I still have trouble figuring out whether he's really any good. Pounding on Sadam Ali and Gabe Rosado just doesn't tell us much. Even so, I have a feeling that his granite chin and relentless pressure might end up being too much for a guy like Charlo. I just wish GB would put this kid in with a real test once and for all.

I'm with you, there is something missing in Munguia, same with Tszyu. Jaime is a bit slow of foot and he's easy to hit. Somehow he keeps winning, but he still hasn't been tested by a top level opponent. His wins over Ali and Smith were good, not great, and those were four years ago. His career has stalled. Partly because of COVID, but now is the time to step up and get it going. I was hoping he'd fight GGG.

Yeah, GGG-Munguia would have been something. It seems like GGG gets no respect at all anymore on this site, but I insist that GGG-Munguia, right now, would win SFOTY (Sadists' Fight of the Year). Munguia is so tough but has such poor defense that he would take a horrific beating before it ends. I think this would be a hellacious back and forth, toe-to-toe barn burner that would break CompuBox power punch connect records. It might well end both guys' careers but GGG wins IMO.

At least this Mungia guy don't rely heavily on the good graces of Mr. Canelo's attention.
He's also active and don't shy away from a potential clash with Andrade. Unlike Mr Jermall Charlo.

Wow! Not even "Afro-American?" Well, not a big fan of "Black!" You don't see Native Americans referring to themselves as "Red," nor Indian Americans referring to themselves as "Brown," nor Chinese Americans referring to themselves as "Yellow," so why should my people refer to themselves by a color?

                    Mungia doesn’t need Charlo..

Charlo has been LANGUISHING on SHO for an extended period of time, is in his 30’s, and is in DIRE need of Mungia..

All of the options are on the DAZN side, they have the leverage, if that punk Charlo wanna fight he has to cross the st mfer!!!

He's had plenty of time to make that fight, but he did NOT! Why?
