Butler is a good fighter with some nice skills but I see it ending violently bad for him.

The difference in level between Inoue and Butler is even bigger than Douglas vs Tyson, moreover...Comment

Yeah but that was a few years ago. Probellum didn't exist then. The point I'm making is that, recent tensions between them and Top Rank, might affect making this fight.Comment

It wouldn't surprise me if Schaefer decided to have Butler hold the belt hostage, and that's probably better for Butler because Inoue would probably give him a beating. When is Probellum's next card?Comment

Butler is pretty sharp in the ring. Excellent powerful body puncher... quick, sharp strong punches upstairs.
He would have to be on his AA game vs Monster... and even then, doubt he'd last all 12.
But it would be a good payday for him, and it would likely be competitive for some rounds.Comment

Good on him, dude has balls. I was thinking he would go into hiding after last nights's fight, but it sounds like the unification will happen. The only obstacle to Inoue becoming unified at 118 and 122 is people running away from facing him.Comment

Nah, that was in Japan, but I did forget he fought Emmanuel Rodriguez in Glasgow during the WBSS as the co-main to Josh Taylor vs Baranchyk. So I'll correct my statement to say I'd like to see him get a fight in England against ButlerComment

This just highlights the nonsense of the sanctioning bodies, Butler's not even top ten in the independent rankings. Why would this be a better fight for Inoue than fighting someone in the top 5? Answer, it's not, but fans are weirdly still in love with the shiny belts given out by corrupt sanctioning bodies. There is no dispute over who the World Bantamweight Champion is.Comment
