Do I have a reasonable argument for having Floyd Mayweather Jr as the greatest fighter of all time?

    - - That'd make him better than his Crack Daddy by a good stretch, but l'l floydy on the delicate side had to have his bib tucked in and steak cut up for him with his TUE spritzers.

Dude was being torn apart by fans for maybe a year or two before that for not taking the challenge.

Anyway, you'll never admit it. Never understand why boxing fans are so obsessed they just can't be honest. It's no harm, Floyd is still an ATG, just not TBE.
Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.
Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

Can't be any more clear than that, unless you know something Bob Arum doesn't.

Hes atleast top 5. If you want to argue over the top 5 that is fine but people saying hes top 20 are biased.

He was 38 years old undefeated and no young buck on the planet could touch him. He has longevity in his record. Beat Marciano's record with vastly superior competition.

Floyd had an iron jaw and doesnt even have an actual knockdown on his entire career. THe best shot he ate in 19 years of boxing from mosley didnt even put him down.

You guys are delusional and cant be objective, he doesnt have to be your favorite fighter but to say a guy with no real knockdown in almost 20 years is fragile when he has one of the best resumes of all time is delusional.

I know he ducked Margarito to fight Carlos Baldimir before any of your nonsense about DLH comes in.

He easily beat the supposedly greatest fighter of this generation after years of making excuses and ducking Olympic style ped testing. Retiring undefeated after leaving no doubts is, to me, worthy of being the greatest fighter of all time.
For what he's done for the sport, he's had the greatest impact, but as far as skilled, I would say top 5 for sure.I truly believe Robinson would have eaten Floyd up.
