It was definitely a mercy stoppage and probably kept him from being hurt. He was discombobulated after getting up. I'm all for letting the fight continue but I wont complain about keeping a fighter from being hurt.

That's nonsense; he was caught with a nice shot and got up; he should've been allowed to continue. I've seen fighters recover from worse shots.I demand a Davis vs Romero II

I agree, Rolly was wobbled and who knows what would happened. At least let the guy go out on his shield. He took zero punishment and got hit with 1 shot. Maybe the fight goes on right after and Stank gets wobbled and we got a back-n-forth.

The ref was looking to take points from the opening bell, it was clear as day he was on the take.

disagree... did you see his legs?? bruh was doing the bambi walk.. which is why the ref stopped it... at first, i was against the stoppage too but once i saw the replay and Rolly's leg's was not stable, it was a good stoppage. not gon lie,ref was on tank's side the whole fight tho!!

Man....y'all should've seen Rolly when he walked into the post-fight press conference....dude looked like he just woke up from a nap. I mean, seriously. You couldn't even tell he was in a fight...it simply looked like he had just waken up...THIS is how concussed he was. The walk of shame to the locker room was telling enough. Rolly was OUT of it.

I don't like the excuses that some Tank fans made...saying he was "setting Rolly up the whole time" or "Tank was just being patient and blah blah blah!" Shut that **** up! Tank was uncomfortable and took some shots early. Why is this so hard for some to understand?

Some Tank fans are the worst! They barely know **** about boxing....they just tune in and sit at the edge of their seats for the KO. Bunch of casuals. Again, great fight but Rolly deserved credit for what he did by making it a fight of some sort. I actually feel more happy about spending my money on this one and not the Cruz fight 6 months back.
