According to his ardent supporters he doesn't have to as long as he's making a killing in the box office showcasing fights. Go look at their posts. Go ahead.

      Right.
I can care less how many tickets Tank sells and how big of a star he is.
I look at legacy as a Boxing fan, I can care less how popular any fighter is.

For real, at this point in both fighters' careers, Tank hurts Ryan and it is another predictable fight. Don't get me wrong, Ryan can fight, but Tank is too skilled and powerful.

I wholeheartedly agree! Davis would expose Ryan Garcia at this point of their careers. Currently, I believe Loma and Tank are perhaps the best two fighters in the 135 lbs division.

I hate to say it because I am a big admirer of Floyd & how he made business moves but they will never put DAVIS in with any threat.

They just did over 18,000 fighting TRASH yesterday, with Davis making over a million dollar purse...in their eyes, there is no need to fight any elites at 135.

Ellerbe runs Mayweather Promotion & in his eyes, the casuals are Davis fanbase...he doesn't give a F about the diehards because we will watch regardless. The casuals don't know anything about ABC belts & P4P lists so Ellerbe will continue to put Davis in there with mushrooms because they can do 18,000 regardless.

          IT IS WHAT IT IS!

Tank only wants to fight defenseless women, bums, and cars full of teenagers while drunk.

I am curious if Tank Davis can fight above 140 and pull of a win against Thurman. Thurman went the distance with Barrios who rocked him in numerous occasions even though he won in a dominant fashion.

                Hey I feel you.
But the problem here is Tank actually needs to fight these top to show he is the best. I hope he does soon and he has to start with winner of Haney Kambo

Wow, that pretty much sums up the reason to why Tank is led how he is.
Yeah, and Tank is too comfortable with easy checks. I really don't think Tank is looking for legacy.

                    Good point.
I think Tank can do well at 147 but not exceptional really. 147 has highly skilled competition and champs, Tank wouldn't survive that.
I actually think the top champs walk over Tank at 147
