Gervonta 'Tank' Davis REALLY needs to step it up

Tank is an amazing, highly skilled fighter.

Yet I think he REALLY needs to step it up with opponents. Most, if not all, of his fights have been lopsided where we easily know who the winner will be.

I don't see him facing winner of Haney Kambo, Teo, or even Lomachenko anytime soon. Nor Taylor at 140, and I won't even mention 130, because he knows Shakur is too much of a risk. Nor should Ryan Garcia's name be in the mix because it is a lopsided fight and we all know his daddy Oscar is protecting Ryan.

I love Tank but am tired of these simple opponents. He says he is the best, BUT hasn't fought THE REAL best 1t 135 and 140.

We'll see what happens next, your thoughts.

I know. What the Hell is he waiting on? He's damn near 30 years old. It's time for him to step up his level of opposition.

Thought he looked good against a special ed student who’s been boxing a couple years. I like Tank, but I hate his career and his fans. If your guy is the killer you claim, you want him to fight the top guys

Beterbiev and Inoue have been a few of my favorite active fighters for years, and I always want them to fight the best guys.

Yeah, I honestly think Tank really doesn't want to face them top names.
He is too comfortable with easy money man.
But, he called out Haney, calling him an email champ and if Haney wins, he wants to fight him, Tank better back them words up, I doubt he will though.
I hope I am wrong, but most likely I see his next opponent being another lopsided easy fight.

You got fighters like: Loma, Haney, KingRy, Kambosos, Stevenson and even Teofimo Lopez he could fight at 140. Everyone wants a part of that sweepstakes.

            True man.
I really like Tank, but gosh, the way they been guiding him has been upsetting up to this point. And worse is, Tank most likely sticks around with Ellerbe and Mayweather.

Yeah, we'll see. Top Rank and the PBC have done business in the past. So I don't see any impediments in making that fight happen. What's so ironic is that Haney would fight anybody, any place at anytime. He is the flip side of Gervonta Tank Davis. He is the most avoided Lightweight in the world where as Tank is the most sought after Lightweight in the world. Everyone wants to fight him.

                Yeah man.
But the thing here, I think Ryan is just another lospided matchup. Tank hurts Ryan man.
Ryan needs more things to work on before even trying to step in the ring with Tank.

Wow! You really think so? That's very interesting! I really wish that he could fight Loma next!

                    Yeah definitely man.

Just watch, Oscar de la Hoya won't let Ryan fight him. Oscar knows Ryan isn't ready. They just run their mouths off for attention and marketing.

For real, at this point in both fighters' careers, Tank hurts Ryan and it is another predictable fight. Don't get me wrong, Ryan can fight, but Tank is too skilled and powerful.
