Too bad Fury didn't knock some sense into him. He's still dumb as hell.

Boxing has never died because of the absence of one particular fighter, especially if that fighter is named Deontay Wilder.
Yes he's a exciting one punch knockout artist, be he's not be all end all of the sport of boxing, if he was he'd still be undefeated.
Just shut your big mouth up, and go about rebuilding your professional boxing career, and you'll be back in the thick of it.

Very true Deontay, but no need to comeback. We still have Trevor Bryan holding it down

No matter how much of a clown I think Wilder can be it must be pretty cool to have his hometown put up a statue of him. That would be an extremely humbling experience. Hopefully he found what he was looking for on the desert mushroom trips & gets back to boxing for one more late 30s run. Many posters have thrown around names. I didn’t realize Helenius was with PBC so that would definitely be the opponent Wilder should target on his return. A good name, high ranking & a very winnable fight. Then a win over Joshua conquerer Andy Ruiz would be another step towards a title shot. He would get paid well in both especially the Ruiz fight. He is a guy who just needs to keep his mouth shut & knock some guys out. Every time he speaks it sounds so rehearsed like he practices in the mirror. Exciting fighter but needs to get back to the 212-215 range like he was in the first Fury fight. He had much better stamina & that helped him go 12. The last 2 fights around 230 he was gassed by the 4th round.

Wilder held the division back in Furys absence. It was A.J and Klitschko that sparked a resurgence in boxing and Wilder road Joshua’s name with little effect beyond Ortiz rivalry after the fact .

The fact is Wilder is only as exciting as his level of opponents which has been stale barring 3 opponents in 10 title defenses . He never gave fights the fans wanted and gave excuses why not to take the better fights more then not . In the end he ran into A.J and Fury which forced him into a legit match he couldn’t not fight either one the excuses were getting old . Wilder needs to fight a legit top guy in his prime ,no more Ortiz and no Fury .

Mahkmudov , Wallin, Joyce, Hrgovic,Usyk, Ruiz, Kossobutskiy, Parker , Bakole , Ajagba , Sirenko many more . There’s no shortage of dangerous punchers and boxers , we’ll see if he’s serious or if he’ll take the easy route . I’ll give him a pass on his first comeback fight but after that fans need to get on him like they should’ve done after reluctance of fighting Klitschko at the time . Let’s not make the same mistake .

Sport is healthier when there are US stars. Math. Nation of 320M. At deep into his 30s and coming off 2 one sided loses, Wilder ain’t the guy to unlock it.
