I haven’t made any kind of bet in 5 years! Still called Bivol to win, and I made sure I got those comments on boxing scene threads before the fight started, where I saw others saying the same thing.

Guessing most high stakes gamblers don’t know ****, but who knows?
In a previous post you admitted that you had not watched much of Bivol, yet you picked him to win. Damn, I guess, despite Canelo being a 6-1 favorite and there being numerous threads about how easily Canelo would win, I’m the only person alive that thought Canelo would win? Bu!!shyte!

Welcome! I saw Hagler destroy Alan Minter in the UK - I was converted from there on in - awesome fighter - no way Golovkin could best him in 3 or 5 fights - and I enjoyed Golovkin's run.

anyone who has Fury as their top p4p, let alone top 10, should not be taken seriously.

HWs don't belong in the top 10 because they're not as good as fighters in other weight classes. They are the least skilled by a mile.

Also, none of the fighters that Fury beat were ever ranked in the top 10 P4P. Wilder defended the belt 10 times but was never ranked. How does Fury get by Wilder, beat up Whyte, and get launched into the top 10? Whoever made this list just cut to the chase and ranked Fury as top 1. It's a complete joke.

Bivol was asking for Canelo for awhile and was even willing to drop to 168 to take the fight. Why was it a cherry pick? Bivol was chosen as an opponent only after looking unimpressive in his last few fights, hence the long odds! Real boxing fans knew it was going to be a tough fight? That's why some of us bet on Bivol. As ar as armchair, lol, I have been following this game for almost 5 decades. The diference is that some of us are not fanboys!

Here's a thing - a lot of posters completely disregard that a boxer might be fighting not in the weight class they started out at. And then when they are in there 2nd, 3rd or 4th weight class and lose to a champ in that weightclass suddenly the winner, say Bivol, is better p4p than say Canelo (4th weight class) . No! Bivol is just a better LHW than Canelo. That is all.

Lets project. Say Bud beats Errol. He'll likely be P4P no 1. Lets say he steps up to 154 and the obvious fight with Jermell for whatever reason isn't immediately available. Lets say he decides to fight Tim Tszyu for a pot of money. Lets say he loses to Tim - Tim is just too tough and grinds Bud down to a late tko. Is Tim now P4P no.1 ?? Is he crap! Tim is just the better 154 pound fighter.

wait Are you trying to say the names you listed would all get killed by Canelo ?

Fury can't be above usyk. If fury beats usyk then yes. Must give fury incentive to comeback
Huh? Why in the world would Usyk be above Fury? Because he beat the most over hyped fighter in heavyweight history? Wilder would murder Joshua as would about 10 other heavy weights. Ok so what starts has Canelo jumped up in weight to fight? He cleared out 3 of the biggest paper champs available and ducked the best in the division. Bivol was his first real challenge next to GGG and Floyd and he got owned

You mean because HWs are slow and ponderous? But welterweights make LHWs look less skilled. Jermell Charlo is not as fast on his feet as fighters like Chocolatito, Estrada and Loma.

Interesting that you say Fury hasn't beaten a top ten P4P. I'm scratching my head to think if any current P4P top ten has beaten a fellow P4P top ten at the time they fought.
Off the top of my head I think Golovkin was top ten P4P when Canelo beat him and I think Loma was top ten when Lopez beat him and maybe Lopez was like number nine or ten at time of fight. This is a good reason to be optimistic for the Spence/Crawford fight.

Lomo should take on Fury then according to your logic. He could just dance around and outbox him. This is comical - heavyweights can beat anyone in any division, thus why the heavyweight champ is always regarded as the baddest mf er on the planet . I’m not a Fury fan but he beat the 2nd best heavyweight and it’s exactly why he is retiring. No one would even watch him fight Usyk it would be a waste of his time
