Canelo needs to leave the Bivol fight in the past and move on with what's left of his career. it's like he's ignorant to the wear and tear that is doing to his body, these are things you maybe try at 25 or 28 Canelo is 32 years old now and it's obvious that 168 is his limit..Personally I think Canelo should still be at 160lb but he's let his body settle in to the heavier weight now...

it took years, he dropped belts, and took roids because he was scared of GGG. This is revisionist bull****!
He cherry picked Rocky, Kova, Plant, Yildrim, Smith, and Saunders. He thought Bivol was a cherry too, even Hearn said Bivol wouldn't have been selected if he didn't look like like **** against Richards and Castillo.
What about Roy and Mikey? They've won multiple belts in multiple classes. YDKSAB, keep it moving kid.
Roy started at 156.

He's scared because he knows he'll lose. Same reason why he ran from Andrade and took ~5,000,000 less to fight Kovalev ---> Andrade had $40,000,000 offer to fight Canelo.
Cleneloterol was scared to fight GGG, dropped belts and shot Clenbuterol into his veins, I mean this is a scared man when the real challenges are there, hardly fearless.

Because in reality, he was running from Benavidez, and going up in weight only because he thought he saw something sweet in Bivol. Turns out, Bivol was bitter as a mofo and kicked his carrot top ass. He did the same thing when he hopped up to fight Kovalev. He only goes up and picks ppl he thinks he can easily beat he knew Kovalev was drunk off potato vodka when he fought him. He also wanted to go up to fight a big slow cruiserweight. That's not chasing greatness, that's cherry picking at it's finest. And no one cherry picks as good as Canelo Alvarez. Ppl that know boxing understand this. All his best wins have an asterisk next to them, because u can look at all of them and see why he took those fights when he did. He only goes when he thinks he sees something sweet and always avoids the tougher available fights in his own weight class. But u keep running from who the fans wanna see u fight, and this is what happens. U run right into a problem and get ur ass whooped. Good for u. And u ain't the best in boxing. That would be Bud or Boots right now
Canelo fighting Bivol is like Bud ending up fighting Mal or Andrade at 160.
Canelo is right he's taking more risks and as usual, the business overrate and overprize undefeated fighters.
Spence being ahead of Canelo in P4P list is a joke, it is unfair and dumb. Fighters are not rewarded for taking risks, they are thrown to the trash anytime they take a loss.
"Nobody cherry picks like Canelo..." I would not call Lara, Trout, Mayweather, Cotto, GGG, Bivol cherries.Last edited by BillyBoxing; 05-27-2022, 09:39 AM.Monty Fisto likes this.

And why doesn't Benavidez fight Andrade? Because Benavidez's promoter Sampson Lewkowicz wanted more money than they can get from Canelo fight for fighting Andrade which is more than 7 million dollars! LOL! Andrade and Benavidez are both desperate for that Canelo payday. They're so desperate that they can't see anything like fighting each other or someone else.
From my post here: https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/boxing-forums/non-stop-boxing/31415708-what-does-andrade-have-to-do-to-get-a-big-fight-though/page4
Demetrius Andrade claims that Canelo Alvarez was offered a shocking $40 million to fight him in 2019, and instead of agreeing to a career-high payday, he went and fought Sergey Kovalev for less money.Originally posted by Demetrius AndradeNow with DAZN, Matchroom, Eddie Hearn was supposed to deliver the big fights, offered Charlo 7 million dollars to fight me, offered Canelo 40 million, which was $5 million more to fight me.
Instead, Canelo went up and fought Kovalev. So instead of that 35 million dollars he was getting, they offered him 40 [million] to fight Demetrius Andrade, and he was like, ‘Nah, I’m going to go fight Kovalev.’

Ginger either needs to fight him or get stripped. End of story.

You have a guy who clearly has the toughest resume in boxing right now. Canelo Alvarez. And fans still sh/t on him.
If fans are so confused as to why the best are reluctant to fight the best, just read your posts about Canelo out loud. You are why boxers are protected.
You have a guy here, an active fighter, in his prime, a champion. Fought the top 3 best fighters from 154 to 175. Mayweather, GGG, Bivol, Cotto, Jacobs, Lara, Callum, Trout, and so on.
Fans have been asking for a fighter who fights the best. Who makes their little fantasy fights come true. Competitive in every fight he’s in. This guy hasn’t even gotten knocked down yet, let alone KO’ed. Boxing fans get Canelo and they sh/t on him even though he fought everyone that fans demanded he fought.
The fighters with the toughest opponents faced are the most criticized boxers in NSB. Canelo, Lomachenko, AJ, Spence. Those 4 fighters, to name a few, get sh/t on the most, even though they take on top 1-3 fighters.
Boxing fans don’t deserve boxers like those 4. They deserve guys like Terence Crawford and Demetrius Andrade. That’s who they praise as the best.
Canelo’s next 3 fights after GGG should be vs Anthony Dirrell, David Lemiuex, and Zach Parker. He can likely beat all those guys by stoppage and then he can maybe get cheered on by fans who praise fighters who can destroy old or mediocre fighters.

Yildrim Plant, Saunders, Rocky, Smith, Noodles ---> all cherries. They thought Bivol was a cherry too due to 2 recent bad performances and at 19 pro fights you lack high level experience. Cheery gone wrong.
