If Frank can’t secure big names for either Joyce or Dubois, does he just make the rematch?
I think we'll see it either now or February/March ish next year. Possibly he'll wait until late spring/summer to do it in a stadium? No idea to be honest. It's cutting it a bit thin for a big name for either I think. Dubois to fight Takam seems about right, and I'm not sure he'll land Whyte for Joyce. Wallin-Parker's getting some momentum, but I really don't see how that'll do the numbers/tickets Sky would hope for at all. Bit of a weird one.

Yeah I doubt it. Would be a big fight in the North East but I doubt Kelly takes it.
Would love to see it but as you say, minimal chance it happens.

I’d rather they just moved on tbh. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the regular title come into play involving two of those four.
Am not sure. I feel like it was, but that's just a guess. Yh WBA Reg seems a reasonable shout.

Yeah looking at the current landscape it’s hard to see who’s available. Wallin and Parker could be fighting each other. Helenius is linked with Wilder. Whyte is far more likely to sign with Sky or DAZN. So who does that really leave for Joyce? Hunter or Bakole are probably the best names available.

Taylor-Catterall II is in advanced negotiations. Likely to be Sky PPV and likely won’t be in Scotland. Manchester or London I reckon.

I’ve got a Froch-Groves vibe about this fight/rivalry. I’m rooting for Jack to get the W he deserves but I feel like Taylor is gonna win the rematch. It’s the fight to be made no doubt though. Hopefully we get an announcement soon.

Did you watch the BT card over the weekend? I only saw the results. What was your opinion of the fights if you did get to watch, especially Clarke/Heffron?

Thought Heffron looked a class above, Clarke was very sluggish (didn’t think I was watching the same guy who beat Hutchinson). Stoppage was early but not beyond the realm of reasonable I’d have said. McCann looked sharp, first round was electric, although I’m not sure he quite carries the power he thinks he does. Sheeraz was alright I’d say, opponent didn’t seem the most durable but definitely had some ability. Got a bit complacent and was caught with a good shot.

I was there mate, I’ve known Nick Ball since he won the junior ABA’s for Kirkby ABC and I’ve closely followed his career since. Him and Andrew Cain are two fighters to keep an eye on out of Liverpool.

Thought it was a really good card, probably the best card Frank has put on all year. McCann and Ball both looked good, I suspect they’re on a collision course assuming McCann stays at 126. Sheeraz showed his ability but also some flaws he’ll need to correct before stepping up the levels. Would love to see the Bentley fight at the end of the year.

The Clarke-Heffron result really surprised me tbh. I personally thought Clarke beat Richards and the way he disposed of Hutchinson was also impressive, but, one thing about Heffron is he’s always been able to **** and Clarke made the mistake of trading with a bigger puncher and it cost him. I had no issue with the stoppage either, was slightly premature but Clarke’s legs were gone.
