Did not see that coming at all. Thought JJ would get outslugged in a firefight. Im a fan of Kerman but he really only has one way of fighting.
They both need one comeback fight and then we need Kerman vs Cheeseman in Bilbao, all out slaughter

Pretty confident Cheeseman stops him tbh mate. Kerman’s style isn’t effective at 154 like it was at 147.

Can't believe Metcalf outboxed him. I saw Metcalf v Cheeseman & he seemed to have almost no boxing skills. They surely couldn't have slipped a 'ringer' in?

A year ago Metcalf v Troy Williamson would've been about 4 fights down on an undercard. Now, it could be a BIG fight. Both camps need to grab this while its hot.

This was a mild shock to me. 154 is raging in the UK.

His fight with Charrat was very entertaining and I had hoped to see the Frenchman I'm more fights (especially a ratch with Kerman). Unfortunately, Charrat retired recently as he had lingering eye issues suffered earlier in his career. Had he continued fighting, he risked losing his eyesight. It's a shame because he was entertaining and had some skills.

DAZN really has something with their Italian and Spanish series. Top to bottom I really enjoyed this fight card, some really competitive, fights on paper and it was enjoyable to watch them unfold. No real apparent mismatches. Started off with Mendoza and Mejia trading bombs and it was action all the way through to the main event.

Last week's fights from Milan were also really enjoyable. Hopefully we can get more of these types of international cards.
