There are too many annoying British fighters for me to have this attitude. If Eubank Jr or Benn got upset by a random foreigner it would be funny to me. Somebody like BJS being annoying for years, criticising others for quitting saying he never would, then quitting in his next fight...that was just perfect. I could never let nationality stop me from enjoying that.
I don't know about any of you, but as an American, I would NEVER root for a foreign fighter over an American fighter.

Ah the good ol "it could always be worse" argument. Nah **** America and **** that argument. I don't wanna hear about how things could be worse when I know for a fact that they could be the better. This is supposed to be the greatest country in the world, land of the free, yadayada. Yet people like you are satisfied living in squalor.Comment

Not about to happen.
I may not see eye to eye with a lot of American fighters as we may come from different backgrounds, do things differently, have different political views, etc. But at the end of the day, we are still Americans and I stand behind the American 100%.
A good example would be Broner vs Maidana.
As much of a complete annoyance he was, I was still rooting for him all the way.Comment

I back the fighters who make the sport look good. Fighter’s come and go all the time many times in one’s lifetime.Comment

Tribalism is for idiots. You don't control which country you're born in, you don't control what race you are. Rooting for or against someone because of where they're from or what they look like is absolutely moronic.Comment

I agree only in the olympics. Im rooting for my country then, in any bout where it's America vs.

I support class fighters who don't talk trash, are christian, good fathers like Andre Ward, Terence Crawford, Roman Gonzalez, Isaac Chilemba. It doesn't matter where they're from. I do not support flashy fighters who show off their money like Floyd and Canelo.Comment
