I know that's why I said laughably in relation to the draw, it's sad to think the guy only has to make 3-4 rounds competitive to get a draw/"win" in some peoples estimations, whilst he's a great fighter you shouldn't have to be up against those type of odds but it is what it is at the end of the day.

Yes, but was Ocar who paid the judges.

He's dammed if he fights, he's dammed if he doesn't.

Canelo is a very good fighter who was hyped as a great fighter by his promoters and the media. Take a close look at the 37 year old Roberto Duran, Lightweight champ in his prime for 6 years, fighting Iran Barkley and beating him for the middleweight title. How do you think Canelo would fare against this truly great fighter, even many years past his prime? I don't think he'd do very well. Roberto was an ATG, Canelo is a very good fighter. Levels, styles and ring IQ.

maybe, but Oscar wasn’t around last Saturday and those judges bent over backwards to try and save canelo from
            losing

Take that to the bank.
I honestly think Bivol beats the brakes off of Canelo in the rematch now that he knows what to expect. As for knowing Bivol, I’ll admit I’ve only seen two of his fights prior to this one. I’ve followed boxing since the 80’s but the lack of knowledge of Bivol is on me. He never really caught my attention. I didn’t really have a pick in this fight but did comment that most (if not all) of the posters on here that have proven to REALLY know their boxing to the point that I always take the time to read their predictions (and who don’t write breakdowns based on biases) were all picking Bivol to win in a totally one sided fight. The guys in the know called this one almost perfectly.

More bitterness from Oscar. He talking like Canelo whole life is ruined by this loss. I respect him for chasing greatness and no way can any blame be laid at Eddies Doorstep.

Canelo controls his own career. His training team were clearly happy with the decision to fight Bivol.
I feel like Oscar has been back on the filth and sticking kitchen utensils up his UrAnUs.

I don't think anyone will ever say the bold. More likely Canelo will be pedestrian.
He's physically worn out. He's a veteran. Good luck to Canelo. I think he might be done.

                    All luster has been lost.

Canelo can do what he wants to do probably why he left. Oscar acting like his daddy/protector, out here making the man look soft.
