His resume isnt great but Boxing heads can recognize great fighters when they see one and Crawford is that dude.

I cant even put overrated and Crawford in the same sentence. He is a complete fighter and I know he will be just as affective against top oppositions.

Crawford is a good fighter but definitely overrated when you have guys claiming he is P4P #1 not a chance should he be put above Usyk currently. He has to have more meaningful fights before he retires for legacy, hopefully we get this Crawford/Spence fight real soon.

He beat Porter convincingly. That's good enough for me.

            Burns #4
            Beltran #2
            Dulorme #10
            Postol #1
            Indongo #5
            Horn #8
            Kavaliauskas #10
            Porter #4

To put it in perspective. How many current fighters have 8 top 10 wins? Or 5 top 5 wins?

Yeah the names aren’t household but they were the best guys in the division at 135 and 140. His 147 run has been underwhelming but Porter was a huge step in the right direction and I’m optimistic the Spence fight happens at the end of the year. To call his resume “awful” is ludicrous.

I hope you use the same logic for Wlad...Calzaghe and GGG.

Ring along with TBRB have the most credible and legitimate rankings in the sport.

I’m not saying Crawford’s resume is outstanding but it’s very solid to say the least. As I’ve said, name me another fighter with 5 wins against guys ranked top 5?

Crawford gets held to a higher standard for some reason.

All he has to do is fight/beat Spence then the tide will turn right now he doesn't have that solified win to make him top dog of the devision so until that gets sorted we can't say who is best. Hopefully they can get it done this year.

Spence and Charlo 2 undisputed fights can prove you correct. If he is over-rated, everyone would fight him, right. The problem is in sports skill recognizes skill. His opponents know what they are facing vs. the fanboys. It's like Andrade is doo doo but the whole division of 160 finds a way to not fight him. I mean you get to beat an undefeated Olympian and is easy money doo doo but you don't fight him? skill recognizes skill.

He doesn't even consistently fight in one place, all of his welterweight fights 2 NY, 1 Omaha, 3 Nevada and only NY was consecutive.

For the home refs/judges, at what point in any of his fights have you felt as though anybody could have edged him or he got favorable ref treatment? I could see these being good points if they came into play.

Outside of 135, I disagree with the size advantage.

He did fight many in house fighters, but I think the majority of fighters fight in house.
He’s American you donk. Fighting against non-Americans or else washed up b-sides the vast majority of the time. Gtfoh

Exactly. You can’t be P4P number 1 with that trash resume.

people need to realise that sometimes at certain points, nobody deserves the mantle as p4p number one.

I would say Usyk deserves it most but maybe jointly with Canelo and Inoue possibly I dunno.
