On paper, Terrence Crawford is the most overrated fighter in boxing

If you look deeply into Crawford’s resume it’s actually very solid. He beat a lot of guys ranked top 10, top 5 when he beat them. I’ll use independent ratings like Ring to prove it:

To put it in perspective. How many current fighters have 8 top 10 wins? Or 5 top 5 wins?

Yeah the names aren’t household but they were the best guys in the division at 135 and 140. His 147 run has been underwhelming but Porter was a huge step in the right direction and I’m optimistic the Spence fight happens at the end of the year. To call his resume “awful” is ludicrous.

So none of the fighters he won titles off were ranked? He didn't fight any mandatories....was just allowed to take any opponent of his choosing?

Mandatories are garbage. They're hardly ever vs Top 10 ranked opponents.

And for starters when he won his vacant WBO belt, it wasn't even considered a legitimate belt at the time it was as legitimate as the IBO title is today.

-Home advantage in every fight
-home refs in every fight
-home judges in every fight
-bigger than the vast majority of his opponents
-house fighter in every fight

hes got great skills but his resume is absolute dog ****. No way is he P4P number one.

I think we can all say he’s a very good fighter. He has to “prove” he’s great.
