He is increasing the likely - hood of getting beat if he fights at 168 vs Alvarez etc.
bivol has been saying that he can make that weight for some time and I’m not one to argue however if it did weaken him and he knows it all then he is being ******.....he seems a very calculating and intelligent fighter so it seems naive to think he would put himself at a disadvantage.

He is not going to be a better fighter at 168 pounds. That is a fact.

He will make the weight, but he will not be a better fighter.

Alvarez is probably going to be a better fighter at 168 pounds.

I just think the fight at 168 pounds,is unnecessary. Up to himself, if he wants to throw away the fight etc.

He isnt really any bigger than Plant but I suspect he is alot more physically strong and was disciplined to a serious degree. Game plan and execution won Bivol the fight above size

well if it happens it’s because bivol thinks he will be ok and whether it’s at 168 or 175 he beats canelo.......that’s my take on it because canelo will also be weaker and less power.
          168 or 175 bivol has canelo’s number
