How much bigger is Bivol than say... Caleb Plant?

I'm really curious if fighters staying at lower weights for the size advantage are actually getting less return on investment compared to going up to a weight they are more comfortable at, but losing the height and reach advantages they carry. I'd like to see some kind of study about thatComment

I think it depends on you’re style too really. If you’re a guy like Bivol who boxes and moves, it probably wouldn’t help you that much, it would probably lower your output. Meanwhile if you take a guy like Hurd who clearly drained himself to make 154, he’d get absolutely killed up at 168 with his style.Comment

I just think it's odd that people assumed that - when I outlined what I meant by robot in the very next sentence. But I do understand that for some it has a negative connotation.Comment

It’s not just about size or power. Watch the fight again and notice that Canelo COULD NOT HURT Bivol. Bivol was in their with a REAL power puncher in Smith. Canelo and is No Smith in terms of power. It is what it is. Just cause you don’t understand something. Don’t mean it’s not real.Comment

Bivol is a small light heavyweight. I remember a while back he was talking about wanting fights at 168. I think clearly Bivol is built more durable like Golovkin versus PlantComment
