Plant was boxing Canelo but got tired and then started getting slowly broken down.
Saunders was about even on an honest score card until his eye socket cracked.

Big enough to fight in another division. Let's not reach here. Bivol might not be a huge 175 pounder, but he is not small for the division. He is big for 168 and he belongs in 175.
So, he's bigger enough than Plant and others.Damn Wicked

I dont believe Plant was walking around 185 - 190lbs on fight night when he fight Canelo, and Bivol knew how to use his height, reach and his style to go in and out, unlike Plant that tries to fight as Mayweather "flashy". Bivol didn't look like he wanted to look nice with his style but to win the fight in any way possible.

Bivol claims he was 183 in the ring vs Canelo which is probably in the ballpark that Plant reaches... maybe a touch more since my eyes say that Bivols got a slightly more robust frame but OTOH Plants a touch taller. Either way, not a huge amount in it.

I believe Bivol makes 168 easily. He is not a big puncher anyway, he is more sharp combo operator. If he drops a little weight that will not hurt him IMO.
he is a small light heavy, his style is adopted on fighting bigger guys. Yes, he would have less power at 168, but Canelo would have even much less power.

Bivol said he can make 168 comfortably and his size , reach will still be the same but his reflexes and foot speed will be sharper as well plus canelo punch will not carry the same weight as him being 175.
Styles wise he just has canelo’s number and canelo needs to be very careful because if his pride won’t allow him to not fight Bivol then we could very well see him lose all his belts 168 and probably the end of his career at the very highest level.
Bivol is clinical , sharp , great footwork , great hand speed and very very intelligent with positioning and distance
The culture of weight draining, has distorted their perceptions.
He is increasing the likely - hood of getting beat if he fights at 168 vs Alvarez etc.
