Let's be real, as far as size goes Bivol isn't much bigger than most people Canelo has faced lately. He's smaller than Mundo. It wasn't all size that won him that fight.

I think he walks around at like 185. He's just a really good robot-type eastern euro, we've seen a few of those in recent years. Great professional, always in shape, takes his job seriously. Great stamina and workrate, seemingly impossible to hurt. Not a huge puncher but that kind of backs up the point that he isn't really the biggest guy at 175 anyway.

A couple levels above Plant pfp I'd say.

Is he? They look roughly similar.

Yeah agreed. I was always surprised by those who were calling him slow etc. He's always been an athletic fighter in my book.

I meant robot in terms of his mentality and approach to boxing. Just hard guy to beat for anyone around his weight class. No real holes or deficiencies.

Was comparing him to other EE guys like Usyk, Klit Bros, GGG, Beterbiev, Bivol - they all are just like boxing robots in a way. To beat them you will need to do something really special.

hes faster and way more skilled that those other guys like plant, smith. yeah he isnt really much bigger if at all. his ring iq, defense and speed is the difference.

canelo had speed and skill on those other bums and that is how he broke them down, he could barely land on bivol

Not much bigger if at all but considerably more talented.

I think it is time to admit he is just better boxer than all guys Canelo fought at 168.

Bivol beats canelo at 168 as well as everything is comparable.
Bivol said he can make 168 comfortably and his size , reach will still be the same but his reflexes and foot speed will be sharper as well plus canelo punch will not carry the same weight as him being 175.
Styles wise he just has canelo’s number and canelo needs to be very careful because if his pride won’t allow him to not fight Bivol then we could very well see him lose all his belts 168 and probably the end of his career at the very highest level.

Bivol is clinical , sharp , great footwork , great hand speed and very very intelligent with positioning and distance
