A Massive Flaw of Canelo Was Exposed Tonight

Canelo throws all his punches full speed and gets totally gassed. Has no clue how to vary the speed of his punches. Bivol completely exposes this.

Eastern European fighters do this well and guys like Terence Crawford do it brilliantly.

Well that's what happens when you fight someone bigger, stronger, and a great jab.

He fights in spurts then gasses out his whole career, it's always been a flaw of his. It wasn't exposed tonight it's been exposed long ago.

Any half decent defensive fighter will expose this flaw. Trout did. Floyd really did. Lara did. Bivol really did.

Exactly and anyone with good defense will expose this. This is why he ducked Andrade and Charlos.

Every fighter has a flaw against the wrong opponent.

Yes, Bivol even said this during the post fight press conference. Wonder if Canelo will learn next time out.

Yup. Throws some big punches, takes a long ass break, then throws some more. Happy Bivol was able to expose it.

Yeah, I think that is his approach at 168 and slowly became his tendency, because it was enough to get a KO before completely gassing. That doesn't mean that it suddenly won't be enough at 168.
I think that Bivol boxed great, but it was also poor performance from Canelo.

That’s always been the case with Canelo.
